Best experiences with your dining table combo. My mind is imagining all sorts of 'positions'. Personally I prefer in a bed or standing up.

And it's not relevant. Rather silly for the poster to have even mentioned it. -
Right now, is there a bed under the mess?

Pheu Thai Party unveils its three prime ministerial candidates
scorecard replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
And they are promising 10,000Baht to every Thai over 16 years old. Only one source where this would come from - the man who claims to not be involved. Plus, would this not be vote buying? Seems to me they need to be careful the whole party is not de-registered for these offers, and the party officials all banned from politics for 10? years. And yes the other parties are way less than clean and ethical. -
Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records
scorecard replied to Scott's topic in World News
Why should he have any special protection? The millions he has scammed in his many failed business ventures and the poor naive MAGA folowers he has scammed for hundred of millions of $s got no protection. -

But if found guilty and sentenced to jail time, still has to do jail but with secret service protection present in some form. Is that correct? -

I still wonder why the poster asked he question Similat at 78. I still wonder WHY the poser asked 'How old are people posting on this forum?' -
Why come to Thailand and try to stir trouble? Stay home.

What's your fact based forecast for the AUD?
scorecard replied to scorecard's topic in Australia & Oceania Topics and Events
Good question. -
Me too; "People that come here land and have no idea where they are going to stay blow my mind." I'm aware of an Aussie guy, the first several times he came to LOS was like this. Plus he chatted away all the trip million miles an hour in English, then shared he was angry taxi driver didn't listen to him. Also, no booking, told the driver, in english 'Be sure the hotel is near a gay massage parlour'. Second trip driver couldn't really understand him , the driver stopped on the entrance drive to a mid priced hotel on Suk 24, driver got out, demanded the passenger get out demanded the money on the meter, put the luggage on the driveway and drove away.

Well organized, good service good rates. Check whether the driver assigned to your job acceps debit card, credit card etc. Some only accept cash. Best to know in advance. And have the hotel telephone number handy for you or driver to call the hotel.

Thailand, Laos and Myanmar Discuss Transboundary Haze Pollution
scorecard replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Sure, but step 1 is to form a committee to decide what the ultimate committee should look like. Then we see the real committee. Then the real committ meets and decides what subject will be discussed and the date of the next meeting. Next meeting decides what 3 in 1 coffee will be servd and there's a survey re what donuts to by for the snacks, but nothing decided because too many suggestions and demands to patronise the donut shop of friend of oldest committee member but will take time for delivery because donut bakery is in another city so meeting date postponed. You think I jest? Seen it all before re committees at my old university. Then next meeting collapses because the notes of the earlier meeting have gone missing, still at the house of the minor wife of the committee secretary. Rome wasn't buit in a day you know. -
Please help with overstay?

In this country there's rules and there's rules. Different offices / different officers means different interpretation and different application of the law. As above nobody can give you a definitive answer. -
I could write a book about his actvities/interference/rudeness. My son bought a new not cheap (not the most expensve) house and land in a new development in Chiang Mai, came with floors, ceilinsg, wallpaper and changes of layout/extenion of the size of the house, wall layout as requested by my son and his wife. Son and wife then found a tadesman to build/install a lot of more modern furniture. All done nicely, OK price, everybody happy. A month later son and sife and kids came home to discover ladyboy and his CM wealthy bf (eldest son of a CM interior decorator empire) were in the house. (Turns out ladyboy had pocketed a house key at an earlier date.) Ladyboy and bf were measuring walls, putting markerpen spots/lines on the wallpaperand had puller one cabinet away from it's position screwed to a wall. Plus ladyboy had found a set of plans of the whole house which had been put away by my son. Son asks 'what are you doing? Ladyboy 'Your furniture is not beautiful in the whole house and we are redesigning it, to be instaled in about 1 month, it will be a lot more beautiful. Son and wife consiscate the drawings and the notes they had taken and tell ladyboy to remove the marks on the wallpper immediately without damaging the wallpaper. Ladyboy; 'But it will only cost about 3million Baht'. Son explodes and says 'where will I get 3 million Baht? (Which was not the main point anyway.) Ladyboy 'Ask your father'. (me). Son bundles both of them out of them out of the house and recovers the housekey. Son's wife get brave (ladyboy is her elder brother) and she tells him 'never come back'. Plus many more events.
-
Here's a twist. My Thai DIL has a loud full on, mid aged, always interfering lady boy big brother. Lady boy is totally convinced that all farang are rich beyond belief with no limits. He's asked my son many times for big cash handouts, for a condo and a BM with uniformed chauffeur. Son just says no and changes the subject. A nearby neighbor died and this prompted lady boy to ask my son for 500,000Baht so he coud be ready to organize my funeral, the party, chines style 10 course outdoors dinner, etc. Son refused and told him 'when dad passes away I will take care of all arrangements and I forbid you from getting involved in any way. If you do spend any money I will not reimburse you. Lady boy reacted with shock and told the world about his converstaion with my son and how hwas was insulted at being spoken to so directly. His claim was 'But xxxx we must have a big party to impress everybody, make the family look important and look rich'.

Can a foreigner buy this shophouse?
scorecard replied to Goodboybkk's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Who owns the land right now? At original development was the land (just for this shophouse) transferred to the current 'owner'? In other words can the 'seller' produce a chanut which is specific to the land where this shophouse sits and does the chanut, on the back, state that te 'seller' owns this specific piece of land? -If the answer is YES then what is the specific/documented arrangement should other 'owners in this block decide they want to demolish the building? -If the answer is NO then what exactly is for sale and how is it documented? And is the 'seller' entitled to 'sell'? Who exactly is selling this 'property'? Can the 'seller' sell the land specific to the shophouse -
Trump is being treated the way he should be treated; investigated and if there's aligned evidence he should taken to court and if found guilty punished appropriately. He should receive no special treatment; past presidents are not entitled in any way to any different approach to the law. The law of the land applied equally to all. Earlier in his presidency he said many times: - I am your president of law and order. - Nobody is above the law. "It is interesting how the left seemed to love Trump before he got the Republican nomination, now he's the Devil incarnate." Really, I don't buy that. "Whoever wins the Republican nomination will be treated EXACTY the same way Trump is being treated. " Really, I don't buy that. Most other folks don't tell continuous obvious massive lies and twists of the situation at hand. They have scruples, they have ethics and morals, they tell the truth.
