  1. PM says zero quarantine for double vaccinated, neg report at check-in, rapid test on arrival, result in 15-20 minutes then freedom to travel. Anutin says PCR test on arrival and 1 night quarantine (but maybe that depends on what time your flight arrives at swampy), if test negative freedom to travel anywhere. So once again it's not clear what the rule is? Do I book one night at ASQ hotel, will that be done by the health ministry? Until it's all clear travelers can't make bookings for domestic travel after they arrive in LOS. Again travelers unsure what they need to do / whether they want to travel at all. Confusion is the standard.
  2. Or perhaps one member of the group will break one of their high heels, the end of the world as we know it for the whole group. Perhaps they could all walk with no shoes to show compassion and togetherness. But I'm sure TAT would give them free flip flops so they can at least walk to the bus. Or perhaps if only one tests positive the authorities will just ignore it rather than see tears.
  3. Old information, this regulation now well relaxed. Plus when the regulation was in place there were many reasons to get an exemption and leave.
  4. What's Korea got to do with this? They fight for "...they only fight for the right as US citizens for each person/adult family members in case of children to make their own decisions,..." Yep got that, the right to carry guns anywhere, into schools and more. How sweet is that. But Seems to me taking action to keep everybody/the vast majority safe from a deadly virus would be the priority rather than ignoring the deadly health situation (over 700,000 dead in the US and still over 1,000 citizens dying every day from Covid 19) and instead promoting/rallying for 'freedom, freedom'.
  5. Well keep in mind that (as mentioned in many reports) the zero quarantine has to pass a big meeting today and must be published in the royal gazette.
  6. So how does that connect to the many many 'anti covid 19', 'not real', 'anti mask', 'anti vaxx', 'anti testing' reports/comments seen regularly re the US? Plus the fact that earlier the 'big lie' guy said on many occasions, at big rallies, etc., 'too much testing, stop the testing'. But that was a while back and I wonder what his comments on this subject would be now. Further, in the news regularly many red state governors who try to quickly kill any comments at all about the virus or anything connected to it, push for laws to prohibit kids wearing masks at school and in other scenarios, karens who yell and scream anti anything associated with the Covid 19 virus, at supermarkets and in other places. I realize of course that some/many of the above are not main stream citizens, but are state governors, snr., elected officials, TV commentators who are paid to every day sprout anti covid stuff, etc. Just wondering.
  7. Wait for the new policy to be published in the Royal Gazette, often comes out of Friday (but can be any day). From passing the votes in both houses etc., to approval and appearing in the Royal Gazette can be quite fast.
  8. Stupid comment, I guess if you won the Thai lottery you would complain 'not big enough'.
  9. Seems to me there's another point. The relationship/closeness of the 'worker' and others in the various workplaces. Teachers work in an environment where many times each day they are fairly close to their students and IMHO teachers should therefore be fully vaccinated. Seems to be reality that in many/most countries the total % of the population are getting 2 jabs (in the state of NSW, Australia over 92% of the population have had 1 jab and many additional folks getting first jab every day. Around 74% already have double jabs and that number rising quickly every day, estimated to go over 80% next Saturday/Sunday 16/17 October, and higher. This appears to indicate for many professions/industries it's not difficult to find new fully vaccinated folks. At it will get even more easy to find fully vaccinated staff as the numbers of fully vaccinated citizens rises higher and higher. The converse is that folks who refuse to get vaccinated will find they can't easily get employment. Their choice. The exception of course being folks who have a medical condition which clearly does mean vaccination could trigger a health crisis. In NSW these people are now required to carry a signed/verifiable document that they are exempt and soon available on their smartphone.
  10. But always and forever, if it's not spit it's not true love.
  11. Difficult to say NO. Well yes, but not if the response is 'sorry I/we have no money.' On the other hand was she openly bragging to her family about having big money in the bank?
  12. What a joke, the truth is that folks (any county) can easily/cheaply/quickly make most of these products at home.
  13. Yes they are, the regulations were never that severe, many reasons to get exemptions. Australian gov't about to cancel this regulation. And no it wasn't a prison, except for a while a couple of hundred years ago.
  14. Whether the land plot is legal is a good point. My overriding concern would be the quality of the original building work and the fact it's been open to the elements for several years.
  15. Australia is specifically mentioned on another news site (but the names of the full 10 countries not listed).
  16. Australia is specifically in the list of 10 on another news site. (But the full list not expanded to give the names of the full 10 countries.)
  17. Australia not mentioned in the list but is mentioned to be in the list of 10 on another site.
  18. Valid point but the reality is that banks look mostly look at ready cash / current cash flow needed to make regular/continuous payments.
  19. Bottom line: - Banks globally can and do make big profits from issuing credit cards. - Credit cards hold a lot of risk for banks and they need to be very vigilant to watch for any signals of problems. Many years back in an MBA program (in English) at a Thai Uni we had a senior guy from a very big/high profile Thai bank come in and give a half day lecture about both subjects mentioned just above.
