Not fair to the cabin / flight crew and other passengers if he flies alone? If the cabin / flight crew are told in advance that he will be flying alone, maybe they might refuse to allow him on board. Wouldn't really blame them. Would there be a refueling stop? if yes would passenger deboard the aircraft? Meaning that he would be roaming around the stop over airport lost and confused and not aware what to do / where to go next.

Thailand May Ease Overseas Income Tax Rules Amid Global Changes
scorecard replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Is it not true that USA Americans must declare all their earnings including income earned / held abroad to the American IRS? And if they don't they are subject to severe penalties including big fines and jail? If Thailand wants Thais to do the same then copy the USA laws. But for retired foreigners living off their incoming pension it's a different ballgame surely? -
Any tips dealing with health insurance agents
scorecard replied to global expat's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Including go to the insurance coy website and check what policies / levels are available. And call the insurance company and double check the fine points of the coverage / what is not covered etc. Yes a pain but worth the effort. And check if the agent is approved to sell by the insurance company. Don't accept comments from the agent like: - 'Customers are not allowed to have copies of the actual policies'. - 'Customers are not allowed to telephone the HO of the insurance company'. - 'Customers are not allowed to have receipts from payments made for policies'. etc... My Thai son discovered his new wife was paying for a health insurance police for her very old mother. Costing a fortune, paid by the month. Son's wife had no policy document and no receipts for the many payments she had made direct to the agent. Son insisted that the agent come to his condo to explain. Agent demanded a 5,000Baht fee to come to his condo. Son refused to pay the 5,000Baht fee and threatened to call the police The meeting happened and the agent mentioned the 3 bullet points above (customers not allowed .....). Son did some research and discovered the health insurance company was (in Thailand) a joint venture between a very large Thai bank and a very big famous insurance company from Europe. Son called the Thai bank and got no answers. Son sent an email to the insurance coy in Europe (Denmark) and instantly got a phone call from Denmark asking him to share full details. Bottom line: Insurance company from Denmark immediately cancelled the joint venture, the Thai bank refunded all the premiums paid, agent dismissed and forced to refund all commissions she had received to the bank. Agent now works for a Thai health insurance company. -
Elon's Son Really Knows How to Pick Winners!

Except about 8 days of almost non stop signing of countless orders, mostly just revenge on whatever biden had signed and which therefore must be reversed / cancelled. And with much spoken dialogue by trump falsely criticizing the dems for every breath they took. Never mind that there's many other highly critical matters that need attention. Just wondering when he will be on the golf course, can't not keep up his record of the most hours ever spent on the golf course by a sitting president. -
My Thai son, his 4 kids and after a bit of coaxing son's wife all love it. We all have breakfast together 7 days a week. My job is to ensure the plate with toast and Vegemite and other spreads is never empty. Son's Thai mother in law (MIL) tasted the toast and Vegemite and said it was revolting and tried to stop the grandchildren from eating it. My son soon put a stop to that. A few days later (breakfast time) I did a mixed plate of half slices of toast and: jam, honey, peanut butter, cheese, sliced tomatoes and Vegemite. MIL keen to try anything ate a couple of toasts with jam or whatever and then Vegemite. She didn't realize she had eaten it. Then my son brought it to her attention. She insisted she hadn't eaten the toast with Vegemite. Son asked his wife, his 4 kids and me to put their hands up if they saw grandma eating toast and Vegemite. All (incl. me) put their hands up. Grandma made an excuse to leave the kitchen. Later returned and asked me to make her some toast with Vegemite and same every time she visited us until her later demise.

Sure the Hamas attacks were not OK. Sure the jews were treated badly in WW2 / the holocaust. But don't forget the long past history over decades of the Palestinians being given very poor treatment / disgraceful treatment by the Israelis. -

Based on fact. My multinational employer wanted to have a regional seminar for all staff in the Asia / Middle East region. First venue chosen was Malaysia but company admin. then discovered that Israeli staff (at that time about 12 people) could not enter Malaysia. Indonesia then considered, again discovered Israelis couldn't attend - cannot enter Indonesia. The seminar was held in Bangkok. No further comment. -

As is standard for Malaysia, persons presenting an Israeli passport not allowed to enter Malaysia. same for Indonesia. All based on religion. -

What amuses me is that no matter what title / acronym people use the fact is that gay people exist and in much bigger numbers than most realize, world wide. Trump and his gang seem to be hoping they can rid the USA of homosexual people in the military, in government and in daily life. They just show their ignorance. Also in the 'mix' is that folks like trump, and all in his party, just don't know who might be gay in their family, their company, amongst their friends, this generation, previous generations or next generation, whether out or not out, and probably in their ignorance have never thought about it. Changing the acronym back to a previous version is also showing their ignorance.- 200 replies

Partly because many Thai officers just don't know how the typical flow of western names. And some western passport officers also Aussie buddy took his Thai wife to Australia using her Thai passport. On arrival Aussie passport officer said 'but maybe this passport (Thai p'port) is wrong because it only has two names. Aussie guy had to explain 'but Thai people only have 2 words in their complete name (name / surname). Aussie p'port guy said 'are you sure about that? He continued but what's her christian name? Aussie husband had to explain 'she's not christian', she's Buddhist and her first name is xxxxxxxx. Then p'port guy understood and said: - 'Welcome home mr hhhhhh' - 'Welcome to 'Australia Ms llllllll, please enjoy your stay', and gave her a card with Several languages on the cad including Thai, saying If you have any ongoing questions about your visa don't hesitate to call xx xxxx xxxx, there's Thai language speakers available if needed.

That depends on the laws / regulations of the receiving country, not on Thai regulations / attitudes. -
