  1. iHerb are good, but I do find it annoying that they’ll only let you order three items per shipment. This might possibly be a Flash Express restriction. When they shipped by Thai Post there was a weight restriction but no limit on the number of items. I preferred the Thai Post shipping option. Shame it got cancelled. I now have to do multiple orders instead of one order which often works out more expensive for shipping.
  2. That means you still backed her when the pound crashed to near parity with the Dollar and the yield on 30 year guilts weren’t just spiking (like now), they were just going to keep going up and up and up….? Yikes!!! Now that really is blind loyalty, and kinda dumb.
  3. Pure delusional hyperbole, but thanks for the lols 😂
  4. Pure hyperbole, but thanks for lols 🤣
  5. Good to know, thank you for posting and sharing this 👍
  6. I paid 220,000 four years ago for a boundary wall 180m. Brick wall with regular concrete posts every 2.5m. Plastered and painted. No cracks, no movement. As strong and solid today as it was four years ago. I live in rural Isaan. Prices may vary where you live.
  7. And so you should have enjoyed and appreciated a grownup teaching a child the correct way to behave.
  8. I had that a couple of years ago. Doctor gave me a nasal rinse bottle and the saline power that you mix with water to do the rinsing. After a few rinses it cleared up quickly. If nasal rinsing doesn’t work, then it will be a serious sinus infection and you’ll need antibiotics for that.
  9. Isn’t the difficulty in answering due to just not knowing where to start? I mean c’mon, where do you start? Thank god I’m not american and don’t have give a monkeys about that chaotic mess of a s*it show for the next four years.
  10. I think it’s important to remember the number of farangs on AN posting negatively about their home countries is but a tiny fraction of the total number of expats living in Thailand (both working and retired). The mast majority of expats aren’t posting negatively, and most aren’t even reading AN, let alone posting. I think most just see it for what it is; neither better nor worse, just different. Home country has pros and cons, Thailand has pros and cons. Most are just getting on with their lives. My best advice is to ignore the negative posters, both about home countries and Thailand. I don’t think they’re representative of the whole community.
  11. A musical instrument category would be good, especially one for buying and selling guitars and associated gear. I think there’s a sizeable number of farangs in Thailand who play guitar and other musical instruments for a hobby and would be interested to buy and sell gear locally in Thailand on a platform other than Facebook Marketplace.
  12. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t want to live anywhere near crass, insensitive, rude people like you. A price worth paying, I’d say.
  13. No they’re not, at least most aren’t. The idiotic, short sighted policies dressed up as “patriotism” will be the loser in that contest. Every time.
  14. Didn’t the current government come to power by a coup of sorts? As I have no vote and no say, it really doesn’t bother me whether they have or don’t haves coups. As somebody remarked after the last one, “not my circus, not my monkeys”. I’m just here for the all year round sunshine ☀️
  15. Or a much better version of the one I moved to…
  16. The Cold War didn’t actually end. The West believed that with the collapse of the Soviet Union that a new Russia would bring change and peace. They were wrong. Nothing changed. Politically, very little has changed in Russia since Katherine The Great. And it never will. The Cold War continues and may get a bit warmer soon. NATO remains as relevant and important today as it did 70 years ago.
  17. Damned if they do and damned if they don’t. There’s the wilful economic destruction and vandalism caused by Cameron and Osbourne from 2010 - 2016, and the absolute chaos and recklessness of the subsequent revolving door Tory PMs and their administrations after that. The poorest people in Britain have been paying for that and most working people have become worse off and poorer. Post Brexit, maintaining the status quo is not an option. The Torys already squeezed everything can out of low and middle income earners. It’s not good that businesses now have to pay, but the money has to come from somewhere. Will it work? Maybe, maybe not. One thing’s for sure, if it does work the Telegraph won’t report that.
  18. The best thing to do is seek professional legal advice.
  19. Or maybe just a better Asian country 🤔
  20. Have you spoken to UK Customs? If they say no, then it’s a no, if they say yes, then you should be able to send it proving the customs declaration is completed correctly including the HS Code.
  21. I couldn’t agree more, especially the food uurrhhgg!!
  22. Have you had your DHEA level tested? Most hospitals and some clinics can do this. It starts dropping rapidly after 50 and can have a significant affect on your libido. There are supplements for it, but there’s no evidence they work. Most men over 50 “peak” in the mornings and drops as the day progresses, regardless of lifestyle, fitness level, etc. If you want to get it up and keep it up later in the day, the blue pills are your answer. After all, that is why they were invented. That’s life!
  23. Hhmmm, I personally think most of Isaan (95%+) couldn’t acutely be described as that, but there are a few decent cities, eg, Udon, Khon Kaen. I guess it depends on needs and lifestyle preferences.
