Sure Britain is broken, probably beyond repair, Its slowly sinking just like the Titanic. It really should not be accepting any more passengers and should have started evacuation procedures a long time ago. Convicted foreign criminals should be put at the front of the queue and then a last in 1st out system implemented until we have lost enough excess ballast. That works for me , I don't care what the UK hating lefties think,

Its not that difficult to see how it works, once the money has been identified by a certain person of the appropriate standing in the relevant department who then decides he wants it. He would literally just take it, part of it would be set aside to either pay those required to facilitate the extortion or to buy the silence of others. They are all at it here they can't help themselves, I don't know why foreigners here get so upset. it has its advantages if one has money, and most of us do

Police teaching children how to "Run-Hide-Fight" in wake of massacre
Bday Prang replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'm sure they mean well, They were being proactive and following through on policies that have come from the chief of police Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat, This is not exactly his own idea though .. It was advice given to colledge students in the US probably because these events are almost a daily occurance there and I think i've heard it from the Uk gov too ..https://www.smcm.edu/publicsafety/run-hide-fight-active-shooter-protocol/ bit pointless trying to teach it to under 5's though As a last resort, fight. If you cannot evacuate or hide safely and only when your life is in imminent danger, take action. Attempt to incapacitate or disrupt the actions of the shooter. Act with physical aggression toward the shooter. Use items in your area such as fire extinguishers or chairs. Throw items at the shooter if possible. Call 911 when it is safe to do so. probably more effective to equip them with anti stab / bullet proof vests or maybe arm the toddlers even the teachers all just as useless Can't see the authorities being able to teach any Thai kid anything about social media either, It would be the other way round Will they also bother wasting time telling this to the older students (thugs) at the bangkok technical colleges who seem to need very little encouragement to start and enjoy a "10 on to one" fight and always manage to run away afterwards to hide successfully from the police This is what happens when some people feel obliged to say something to justify their existence, when not caring how moronic it actually sounds, as they arrogantly feel the public are too stupid understand how incompetent they actually are They would be much better off remaining silent , this kind of incident is extremely rare here and there is nothing whatsoever to be gained by half baked attempts to prepare for the next. Half baked attempts that will soon be forgotten about -
I don't understand the issue with him making any money from the legalisation of cannabis, So many others were making so much more when it was illegal and continue to do so from the continuing illegal status of other drugs, yet I don't hear the prohibitionists complaining about that. Considering the complete ineffectiveness of the illegality one can't help but wonder who's interests the illegality actually serves, It certainly doesn't help the general public or the users but its a real earner for those involved in the supply As other members oh here have suggested ...follow the money, its really not that difficult

Of course its an unsubstantiated claim, how could it be anything else but i think most would agree its a reasonably credible figure. when considering not just those incarcerated for simple possession who will have received a criminal record but also their families who will have been deprived of a breadwinner , How many would you estimate have been negatively affected. ? I read 80,000 were released in Thailand alone It shouldn't stretch your intellect too much to imagine how many others have suffered and are still suffering worldwide Whilst criminal organisations have made billions ( again a reasonable estimate in my opinion even if unsubstantiated) The issue of Police and drug taking is its self a deflection in the context of reporting the tragic event that happened last week, Firstly the guy was not a policeman , he had been sacked, and Secondly a drugs test indicated he had not recently taken any drugs So you have no wish to smoke cannabis, that's up to you, but why on earth would you wish to restrict its use to those with chronic diseases? It demonstrates a weird desire to control the lives of others , based on your own irrational fears. At the risk of being accused of "deflection" again, do you also think (irrationally) that alcohol should also be criminalised and restricted to those with a chronic debilitating disease in light of the recent tragedy? as that was not found in his blood either
-
i used alcohol as an example not a deflection, anybody who thinks methamphetamine is in anyway related to cannabis is totally misinformed, and those that make comments based on that fallacy deserve to be called out, in a similar manner to "flat earthers" and those that believe in ghosts etc. There have been millions of lives needlessly ruined by anti cannabis legislation, do you think that should continue?
-
Forgive them , they really don't know what they are talking about, they are literally victims of government produced propaganda based purely on misinformation. its probably best that you don't encourage them to "get out and live a little" I would prefer it if they stayed in their houses and kept their ridiculous thoughts to themselves

Difficult to believe the ignorance of those who cannot see the difference between these two completely different substances who's only thing in common was that they were both illegal ! Even more unbelievable is posting rubbish to publicly demonstrate one's complete ignorance, Thailand and the rest of the civilised world is already a legally sanctioned alcoholic paradise (despite the "war on drugs") but you don't mention that. "ganja paradise" a phrase straight out of reefer madness
