At least we can't accuse you of hypocrisy, You made a comment earlier about "go to responses" and now you have presented us with a perfect example, Words like Bigot , Racist , or any ending with "phobe" Are not used by anybody with the intention of rational debate or discussion, they are used exclusively to discredit and vilify anybody with an opposing view , with the sole intention of immediately ending any meaningful exchange of views. I was not equating Muslims with snakes , I would not dream of being so insulting, to snakes. I was simply attempting to explain something using what is known as an "analogy" which of course you know full well, but its no surprise that you would actually feign ignorance in order to dismiss such a valid point as "bigotry" which is after all one of your favorite words Its like arguing with an opinionated teenager

I would have expected you of all people to be able to recognise a blatant troll when one crawls out from under a rock. He pops up in every single thread regarding muslim immigration ( but only where it involves the UK) and makes the same inflammatory remarks, He is not British or Muslim for that matter and as such has no skin in the game What other reason would there possibly be for his remarks ? But,, in my humble opinion, it would hardly be a sensible decision for a person with little or no knowledge of mushrooms to walk around the forest picking and eating any mushrooms they find just because only a small number are dangerous For those lacking the appropriate skills it is considered much more sensible to buy mushrooms from a recognised retail outlet,where the mushrooms gathered, at least in theory, will have been selected by somebody who has the ability to distinguish between the ones that are safe and the ones that will kill The majority of people who, for reasons known only to themselves ,constantly assert that the vast majority of Muslims are harmless and peace loving are not themselves Muslims and neither do they speak Arabic consequently they are totally unable to have read and understood the Quran nor the nuances of the messages it contains . Their rhetoric is based purely on their own sense of wokeness

Why on earth would they? An example, many years ago on a construction site I was working on we had endless issues with a bolshy militant member of the labour force, he was the union rep too or shop steward as we used to call them in those days. He would complain about everything from the timing of tea breaks , working hours, bonuses , disciplinary matters, etc etc on several occasions he almost shut the site down, attempting to persuade the rest of the work force to strike over very trivial matters. The site manager came up with a rather innovative solution, he promoted him to forman, we thought this was a crazy idea, but how wrong we were, the guy changed literally overnight, becoming a hard task master who would not tolerate any of the nonsense he used to be notorious for. People forget their "principals" very quickly when it suits them, in my experience

However I i do think that some newcomers may actually start off with the best of intentions, But will be short lived, they are quickly taken to one side by one of the others and told not to "rock the boat" if they wish to remain part of the "family" To my knowledge there have been very few if any whistle blowers in the house of commons from either side A complete overhaul is as you say long overdue but very unlikely from the people that are even allowed to decide for themselves how large their annual pay increases are The amount of sleaze involved was highlighted several years ago with the expenses scandal , who could forget the arrogance of those who simply refused to accept their obvious guilt. it should have been sorted then , but unsurprisingly little if anything changed.

I am more cynical, I would say 100% why else would anybody give them anything. With respect to donations and gifts they should be treated in exactly the same way as the police. Declaring these bribes officially is nothing more than a charade, its as if once they admit to it , all is ok and above board. "yes we received £100,000 from "whoever" but no need to worry as we've told you about it, now move along nothing to see here

Most people harbour a fear of snakes whether they admit it or not, even though many snakes are totally harmless.. Whilst technically this fear is a phobia few would berate them for erring on the side of caution. Despite most poisonous snakes being relatively easily identified and the easy availability of reference books to aid in their identification many harmless snakes are killed every day . Whilst you may say many muslims may well be harmless ( until they get "the text message" of course) the dangerous ones are not so easily identified and there are no reference books for us to refer to which will assist in identifying them . also snakes openly advertise their potential danger by way of their appearance they do not act covertly Unlike muslims ,what you see is what you get For that reason the only safe option with muslims is to err on the side of caution at all times, No need to be outspoken or violent about this just keep a healthy distance from them, restricting their immigration to non muslim countries is obviously a good start. Everybody knows it makes sense. but some are so blighted by wokeness that, contrary to logic and basic human instinct ( the very essence of wokeness) they just can't bring themselves to accept it Hence we end up with "gays for Gaza" and other such astonishing stupidity Personally I would rather be called a bigot by people like you than end up blown to pieces or decapitated by a member of this death cult

Lets be honest about it , for anybody in his position , along with any other people of influence accepting anything from anybody ever, is clearly a potential conflict of interest As I said in a previous post, would anybody ever consider offering anything to anyone of influence if it could only be done anonymously ? very very few in my opinion, What would be the point?

Or maybe simply make a rule that states all donations need to be,and remain anonymous, putting it into practice might be challenging, but not for long . All the donations would soon dry up once the sponsors realised they had nothing to gain.
