  1. Putin is not alone is his despotic and violent reign but he sure is a clear and starkly obvious POS
  2. Smith is a total legal shark! he will eat anybody who has broken the Law in quick successive bites. Garland is a (Shaolin) Master of the Law and saw Trump coming a long long way off and knew exactly what he had to do to serve Justice and the letter of the Law. This appointment removes any further credibility to the BS by Trump and his jackals about it being a political witch-hunt and places the investigation and what will most certainly now be actual prosecution of Trump and those around him in the scope of our near future. Smiths powers are broad, all encompassing, un-tamperable (he's an Independent Prosecutor) or un-sabotage-able. His position is different to by not unlike the Powers of A Royal Commissioner as are formed in Westminster Law countries. A completely independent office of staff who once appointed sits apart from and immune to any line of political Party-line interference of influence. I just watched some folks on Midas Touch UTube Independent news with a guy named Ben who is an experienced lawyer. He interviewed a lawyer-lass who worked in the same office, directly and closely with this Special Prosecutor Smith for a decade and she said nothing but good things about him and that he will move very quickly if there is sufficient evidence of crimes and conviction. She also said he would not have been appointed if Garland did not have clear grounds for future prosecution of Trump and his treasonous band. She outlined how Smith has has a stellar prosecution career, was and is a super-star prosecutor i.e. he gets convictions because he is so vice-tight on the evidence and how he presents that evidence in his cases.
  3. What has drinking got to do with enjoying at-the-ground games, of any kind?! The history of readily available, mass drinking at football, especially by Europeans is not a good one, not good at all. I'd go further and say that anyone suspected of being drunk upon entry to a ground be breathe tested, and if over a reasonable limit be refused entry. I for one wouldn't want to be around semi-inebriated, or drunk people at a WCup sports events. There are families children and women at these things so drunken men making scenes and frightening people (predominantly the problem historically) is not on. As for free booze in hi-so viewing boxes these folks are contained in small groups and separated from the mass of folks attending. I would say, from personal experience of such spaces even if people get a bit p!ssy they don't brawl, throw drink containers at players and officials, or become offensive to others (and if they do they are removed from the box asap).
  4. How weird was that guy huh?! Reminds me of ... I was in Sicily many, many years ago and went into a restaurant for dinner. The owner asked if I'd like to sit and eat with a fella (stranger to me). I was feeling nice n chill and easy going so I said why not. Turned out he was German was a captain in the German Army and not long into the chit-chat while we were eating he proceeded to tell me that Hitler was a great bloke, that the German people were betrayed by the Jews and despotic elites (sounds eerily recently familiar doesn't it?) in WWII, and if they hadn't been betrayed Germany would have won the war and the world would be a glorious national socialist place. I stood up took my glass of nice cold beer (had to restrain myself from throwing it in his face and flattening him) told him he was Nazi pig so everyone could here me and sat at another table.
  5. I'm looking forward to the tournament mak mak ????
  6. His pleas will fall over ... He doesn't have a leg to stand on
  7. Or perhaps he'd just finished at gangbanger-yoga class
  8. No its a solid, continuous period of time. Short holidays abroad are allowed during this period for residents. Being able to leave temporarily might be different for our OP though seeing as he is returning home after many years living abroad and registering for the first time for the Aged Pension?
  9. As a recently retired Aussie man of 66 years of age who has emigrated to live in LOS a couple pf years back (probably till death). So, I had occasion not too long ago to enquire as to the ins and outs of leaving Australia and no longer being a resident. My Pension age was 66.5 NOT 65. So to be sure check online to see if you might fall into the birth year category that is like me or the standard 65 years. Personally I'm not eligible for the pension due to me not passing the means test but as a thorough kinda guy who likes to be forearmed and informed I spent some few occasions with Centrelink finding out exactly what was what with my plans to leave Australia. You say you're eligible for the pension (i.e. you pass the 'mean test' and therefore have assets commensurate with eligibility for the full pension). You must return to and have a registered residential Aussie address, register on the My Gov system e.g Tax file number reactivated (you were a previous taxpayer in Oz yes?); Medicare; visit to your state Services Offices for a drivers license (if you drive), Vaccination proofs for upload to your MyGov Profile. This process is quite simple ... all you do is attend Centrelink declare you have returned to Oz with the intention to live here and are seeking the Aged Pension. There's no need to declare to Centrelink you intend to emigrate in 2 years - share only what is necessary now. You can call them and begin the process by phone but you will need to sit down with them to make everything (ID's etc) concrete anyways so I'd just go and do it face-to-face first thing. To register is usual OZ governmental stuff e.g. I.D - points system - birth certificate, Passport, bank account statements, proof of residence and a few other forms to fill. For Aussies now we have our entire ID profile online, everything, so you have the Federal and State Gov app's on your phone and can access and do tonnes of stuff e.g vaccinations, emergency info and next of kin, not needing to carry a drivers license in your wallet as it is online, any points or driving fines, all your med stuff like blood type donor status etc. As soon as you get back go to your local Centrelink Offices (take your ID's and banks statements as this will save time). They'll help you create your profile setting you up with a mMy Gov profile on their customer PC's, (Medicare card, Pensioner Concession Card, Healthcare Card issuance will be generated and sent to your address etc.). Once you've created a MYGov account and then later at the other necessary Govt offices - State Services Offices (equivalent to Thai MOT). In NSW its called Services NSW and used to be called the Department of Transport (DOT). Its got other names in Other States - Centrelink will help you with maybe a URL link or address of phone number to find your local one. This is the same place you went long ago to renew your drivers licenses. Now energy bill payments and energy bill rebates (you get to claim for electricity rebate each year as a pensioner) can be paid here, free rego of vehicle, and other free & discounted stuff). Utility bills can be paid via BPAY and at other convenient places of course. I am not aware if you are allowed to leave the country for a holiday in the crucial 2 year period. You situation as a long expat may affect the rules on this for you. But this will be easy to check with Centrelink Officer when you sit and talk to them. If you are viewed as others are, then like them who are newly receiving the Aged Pension i.e. All must reside for the larger defined percentage of the two year period in Australia (e.g you can't come back get the pension then leave and live overseas for a large part of this 2 year period maturation period) otherwise the pension will be stopped, but short periods away for holidays is allowed.
  10. What a stellar opportunity to develop a cracking sense of humour. Funny, quit witted people are usually liked a whole lot.
  11. At the risk of being called a sanctimonious ponce (go right ahead lol) if ya got the correct license and are carrying it then you don't get pinged. Quite the opposite has been my experience as a resident of LOS. If fact with a polite smile, reasonable respect, always carrying my license, insurance and car ownership papers I always get treated extremely well by plod here ... well, the very rare times I get stopped that is. Got stopped amongst a mass of random folks being stopped at Wirat Hong Yok Rd in the SUV at one of the usual spots near Phuket Town for license check etc just the other day and the officer was very professional, polite and kind.
  12. I though death was death ??????? lol ???? You know 'shuffled off this mortal coil', or in the case of a parrot an ex-parrot. no more, departed, fallen of the perch.
  13. Its not uncommon i.e. I mean I often get the overwhelming urge to suddenly vacate a location when folks ask me to pay for this or that haha????
  14. the immigrants in my home nation work dam#ed hard and a darn sight harder than most Caucasians I know.
  15. A lifelong, serial criminal. Soon, it seems (sane people hope), to be convicted from multiple, imminent trails (the evidence of his decades long very serious real estate conspiratorial frauds in NY being just one which hopefully will see him do at least a decade in jail). Not to mention the high-crimes he has committed against the American People which are clearly treasonous in my opinion - attempting to overthrow the government.
  16. And stealing highly sensitive federal documents, lying over and over about having them, refusing to return them, and in doing so compromising the lives of covert agents and contacts and procedures. Its amazing huh how so many people simply don't care about, or research the facts from a range of reputable sources and aren't at all interested in those facts. Instead preferring (cause it requires zero critical thinking and dovetails into their own bigotry and biases) to simply lap up the false narratives tropes like a thirsty pooch.
  17. It was obviously all about the condiments tray and who wanted what haha ????
  18. Anything to do with the myth of trickle down economics working? I have some sort of gut-feeling the world needs to shift its way of doing business, and that we are being offered an opportunity to make a series of fundamental paradigm shifts. Consumerism economic health measured on unending growth rather than sustainability are consuming the very ground beneath our feet, the water we drink, and the air we breath.
  19. I love it here ... but hey, I'm a loon who thinks the rest of the world is barking mad. I enjoy visiting the old country, and places around the globe but am glad to leave and return to my island paradise, along with my loud Bula shirts, and my white Bermuda shorts.
  20. Lets try again: what a w2nk woke post that is
  21. What a Delete woke post
  22. Thank thee gods I don't have to consider such total localised BS .... I have worldwide superb cable and can simply chose what I watch apart from this LOS generated insanity.
  23. I'll say it again just in case some govt folks, govt influencers read or have filtered to them from this forum ... 0.16 of a rai is a joke! 1 rai max, maybe, yes.
  24. If you have time and inclination there are some amazing old shop house/antique places all over the old city of BKK where such things can be found. If you're looking for an antique (these are often of the best quality and longevity) you can also find them on the web and import it.
