IvorBiggun2 replied to ubonrthai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The last time I did an online TM47 I ended up having to go to the office, it didn't work. Today I did my online TM47 and it was dun and dusted within 20 minutes. -
Unusual ventilation break-in shocks Thai homeowners
IvorBiggun2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
For someone that doesn't want a dog as an alarm device then CCTV is perfect if connected to you're Android. Irrespective what one has it will not deter or stop burglars trying to gain entry. -
Even after you've had a vasectomy your body still produces sperm. All that has happened is the delivery line has been broken. I had a vasectomy and 20 years, or so, later I had sperm taken direct from my testicle. This was done at the IVF Nawabutr Clinic in Bangkok. After 20 ish years my/your sperm is still there but the tail becomes deformed due to your body attacking it as an invader. The tail is removed and the head of the sperm is injected directly into the egg. How doctors explained it to us. Cutting a long story short my wife produced 15 eggs of which 11 were fertilized. Those fertilized eggs are graded and used accordingly. The outcome for us was a daughter, on first attempt, followed 18 months later by a twin boy/girl, 3 in total children. A few posters on here talking rubbish.

Unusual ventilation break-in shocks Thai homeowners

The burglars work as a gang and are continually on the move. One step ahead of the law is the term used. If they were local the police would round them up pretty quick.. I\we more or less got burgled in the same manner with similar size safe which was also in our bedroom next to our bed as per this case. But in our case they removed the safe, drove 50ish km and opened it via the backside in a farmers field. Nothing in it except documents which they left lying next to the safe. Nothing lost really other than the 2 Golden Spaniels they poisoned to get in the house. -

Why get it from China when just walking in rural Thailand you can literally pick it up free. -

Thailand is awash with the stuff. You can eat cassava but if it's not cooked properly the cyanide in it can kill you. -
A picture would help. Is this it?

Bangkok taxi driver condemned for ripping off foreign tourists
IvorBiggun2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
I had similar story to the 2 tourists back in 2014. I jumped in a taxi at the airport and asked to go to Mo Chit bus station. The driver pulled away but didn't turn the meter on. I asked him to turn it on but he said, similar to the 2 tourists in this story, 'too much traffic'. Being as we weren't going fast I opened the taxi door and said 'I'm getting out'. He backed down and put the meter on. At Mo Chit I had to get my luggage out of the boot myself being as the driver stayed sat in the vehicle. Obviously I never gave him a tip. -
We bought a safe when we first moved into our house before we had a chance to fit grills on the windows and doors. We got burgled whilst on holiday. The thieves just took the safe leaving other items untouched. Incidentally the safe was empty. It was found 50km away in a field with the back crow bard open. Front door untouched.

Spot on Dr. It's the Japanese that will not allow dual nationality. Hence the woman worrying.

A Japanese guy lives close to me. He has 2 sons. His wife has asked my wife if the rule still applies that when luk khrueng children reach a certain age they must decide as to the child's nationality. Thai or Japanese. My wife tells me the Japanese man and his wife believe their sons cannot get a government job if they do not renounce their Japanese passports. I know this is all a load of rubbish but I need to show proof. Any links that this rule does not now exist?

I've just finished reading an article about Rolf Harris and I'd like to see the documentary called Rolf Harris: Hiding In Plain Sight. Can anyone provide a link please? -
My wife translates. But she's not the sharpest knife in the box. So will look on 'Google'.

Mine also went doolally a couple of weeks ago. Tried getting it repaired but couldn't so I bought a new Toshiba. Beware when buying a new one as the instructions for mine didn't come in English.
