Gen Prawit checks flood preparedness in Sa Kaeo
Scott Tracy replied to snoop1130's topic in Eastern Thailand
Nice of him. I bet his place is flood protected. -
Drink... My bil died Thursday morning. On a motorbike with side car. Drove away from a 5 minute visit to our house sponging for money, <deleted> on white whiskey. Never got in the house, wife sent him packing. Apparently what happened was, he was approaching a sharp left corner, on a narrow concrete road, just after a small village. Another biker was coming the other way, they swerved to avoid each other and bil ran off the road. No one saw the accident. The 'other' biker didn't stop. But this is what appears to have happened, by all reports of those who may or may not have been there, or may have seen it but are keeping quiet, or not so quiet. No power poles, no trees, no missing 300,000 baht. Oh, and this was around 08:30...am.

Have any of you teachers received the ultimatum yet?

Don't be so sure...you may consider that you are irreplaceable, but, believe me, you are most certainly not. In my view, any school that fails to take appropriate measures to safeguard the health and welfare of staff and children in their care should be closed immediately. -
So, the neighbour's houses were not affected, but they still attacked the occupant of the house that burned down. I am afraid this accurately reflects what I have seen over the years. No excuses needed to get <deleted> at any time of day, and there is always underlying violence, waiting for a hint of an excuse to break out. It is reported it was a burning cigarette, but it could easily have been a gas cooker left on, or an open fire, or candle, as I have seen in some of these hovels. Fire traps, one and all.

Bangkok warns households unprotected by riverbank barriers of overflow
Scott Tracy replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
<deleted> all to do with me, boys, but just to let you know, you'll be flooded out soon. Especially as we are building high walls around historic sites to send the excess water your way. Oh, by the way.. We won't be building levees and walls along the rivers to protect you, any time soon. -
More <deleted> donations? What is wrong with this government? No shame? 3rd world underdeveloped country? No, it has its own Pharma businesses.. What are they doing? 100,000 and 346,100 doses are a spit in the ocean on what is needed. Give the doses to those countries who have no pharmacy industry, Shame the government here.

Breakthrough COVID-19 Infection in Thailand: What to Know

Who writes this. So much for stating the bleeding obvious. There is always something more deadly than something else and there is always more of a year left than what is thought. Someone gets paid for this sort of rubbish? -

If this is for every man, woman and child, then it's not just a 'tourist ' entry fee. Don't call it that. -
