3. Go to immigration and get the stamp in passport. So you still have to go to immigration, what is the point? :) The total fee is 1900 + 500 thb....and you can use credit card. And it looks like you can't E-extend retirement visa?

If you book an appointment time online in advance, do you still have to go to the ticket queue, or go direct to the desk? It feels unclear to me. Have to do my extension in January. btw, great report by the OP. 👍

Did you travel in Thailand and stayed at a hotel? Then they probably did a TM30 there. If so, you have to do another one back to your home address.

It always works fine for me. Never a problem and very friendly staff.

I did my 90 day on line yesterday Friday Chon Buri. It was approved today Saturday! I did not know they worked weekends. :)

It is the same in Sweden. I did my 90 day non-o in Sweden and it required healt insurance. I used my home insurance for that. If you apply for a non-o in Thailand, no healt insurance is required.

I did go Thai airways fast track two weeks ago. You turn right and have to go like 800 meters for the normal immigration and go in from "wrong" side to reach the Re-entry desk. It is doable but if not too much people I would go the normal way.

You can always start over, I did that one time. Tourist visa on arrival >> Non-O 90 days >> 12 month extension.

I did my Non-O retirement online late last year, and they need proof of insurance. I am Swedish to and they did accept my Folksam home insurance. Just ask your home insurance company for a pdf to attach to your application. edit: but if you apply in Thailand you don't need insurance.

I did my extension at Jomtien in January and did not get that report request.

You will get the visa stamp in your passport when you arrive at airport immigration. Just show them your paper.

But this is kind of funny. Door man say "put on mask" in a very angry way! The "kind" officer I met had NO mask on, and coughed frequently. ???? Anyways, I was in and out in 20 minutes. New record! ????

Yes. I was there yesterday 3 pm on an apointment for retirement extension booked online.

Depending on immigration office you can book a apointment time online.
