  1. If you read it you'd notice there are more than one reason. We learned about Mayans in high school, as history is a big subject in the US, and a lot follow it throughout life. I was always interested in other countries history, and the reasons people did what they do. This is but a short article, but it does explain some about the whys.
  2. These are the actual reasons they used tatts............https://ctsciencecenter.org/blog/experiencing-maya-hidden-worlds-revealed-maya-body-modifications/
  3. A car having a steel shell absorbs the electricity but a scooter or motorcycle has none so a driver can be electrocuted. It happens a few times every year.
  4. I could ask the same question when you said that the 22% of men in the west who had tatts were idiots.
  5. True, but some things will scare some people and get a laugh from others. Just like the opinions here, that those with tatts are low IQ, stupid, tramps, low class. It's all stereotype thinking that comes from believing others opinions. Some people are intimidated by others for many reasons. Size, height, tatts, but the reality is you don't know what anyone is capable of without knowing them. Bruce Lee was very small but pretty skilled. If you saw him in clothes, most wouldn't fear him. This is what I see in the actor you mentioned............
  6. Exactly. Some look at people with certain tatts, like on the face and neck, and fear them, for no reasons other than stereotype. You can put a neck tattoo on a man who can't do 10 pushups and some will fear him, and look at a man with a rose on his arm that can bench 300 lbs and think he's a snowflake. Can't judge a book by it's cover is always legitimate.
  7. I'm not sure how intelligent he is, but being the secretary of defense, I'm thinking he knows enough to keep that job. It isn't easy to prove, as our president isn't very bright and has a limited vocabulary, and he's the highest ranking individual on earth. This is on Hegseth's history..........https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Hegseth
  8. Tatts are actually art, although if people with tatts like other art I'm not sure. I like art but haven't any body art. My kids like art and have tatts, so it's personal.
  9. From what I've seen, it's just annoying pain, and not much if they're small. Tattoos don't make you tough. Going to a gym and learning martial arts or boxing, along with a killer instinct is what makes one tough. Some look at people with tattoos and fear them, even though their legs are smaller than a strong man's arms and their arms are like saplings.
  10. How many of those have you seen naked?
  11. No, it shows his penchant for body art, which isn't correlated with intelligence.
  12. How can you be "almost certain" about people having a very low IQ with tattoos? How many people with tattoos have you actually seen tested for IQ? So many here that assume they know much about other people when you actually know very little about anyone. Why would people follow a flock to have a tattoo? It would seem they see tatts on others and think that might be something they would like. I personally don't have any, never felt a want for one, but all my children, who have well above average IQ's, have them, along with my dad, who had a genius level IQ, so that kinda ruins your theory. Another thing you can't see is tattoos people have when fully dressed, as many have tatts which don't show that way. I have worked out in countless gyms in a few countries and states, trained in them, for 50 years, and this is when you see people in the locker rooms. You'd be very surprised how many professionals who have tatts. Doctors, lawyers, police, firemen, etc. One thing I have noticed, which isn't related, is how many professionals don't know how to flush a toilet bowl after they use it, but that's another story. As far as the big bellied, big titted brigade you see, these are people who had high paying jobs and retired, especially if you're referring to those here. That they didn't want to or didn't care to eat properly was their deal, as many love to eat and don't care about the consequences. It's always better not to assume, because that actually shows a dent in intelligence, preferring to guess instead of going by facts.
  13. Try Cheapoair and Justfly. Best prices I've seen and used them for many years.
  14. He's just stating that the group leader told the visitors that not all of the people who were killed at the camps were Jews, which is true. Of course the majority were. I would think anyone visiting Auschwitz, which is on my bucket list, are already informed about what went on there, with so many war stories and documentaries throughout the years since it happened. Some people who visited might not have been aware of that fact, so she pointed it out to them.
  15. There is also Bundism, socialist Jews. Hate is a part of all politics and beliefs, where some people twist it's meaning. Jews are the targets of disturbed individuals, taught by their parents to hate, or learned joining groups because they needed to follow something.
  16. You're supposed to monitor your children's activities until they are out of the house as adults. Sadly, many taking care of children here are grandparents who are either too old, illiterate of just don't care.
  17. Coerced by someone a bit older and more conniving, looking at them as easy money for himself. The trafficker looks at people they make money on as sheep, following the lies for the promise of that easy money also.
  18. Any excuse to deflect to others that it never happened, thereby enlisting new members of the hate brigade, they'll try it. So many were involved when some of the camps were found by US and British troops shows how many witnesses there were. There will always be white supremacists as they are being taught hate for others at home. When a child sees their dad or mom, or both, talking bad about a certain race, creed or nationality, they think it's right, and many times they'll follow suit in their thinking as adults. You can brainwash a child very easily if you treat them right, and if we see how many terrorists are created as children to hate a particular group, it's easy to see how hate for Jews still happens.
  19. Some men like beards and some don't. The same goes for women. Some hate men with facial hair and some love it. Problem is, finding a good woman is the hardest job we have, and you might turn off the right one if she doesn't like facial hair. Each to his own. Many men use beards to hide facial scars, a baby face, or a weak chin, as they look better with the hair, so they keep it. Some just look better having a beard. I have a friend who's had a ZZ Top beard for many years, to this day, and his success with women has faltered all along. He has always looked better with a slight goatee or clean shaven, but you couldn't tell him anything. I shave almost every day, and it's annoying, but my girlfriend here likes me clean shaven, although one time I grew a little fuzz and she was okay with it, at least for a few days. Beards have come a long way and I see more men with beards than every before, with many styles, but who's to know how well they might do if they didn't grow one? I've also been with women who thought Nicolas Cage was handsome, and some like the Rock, although it's mainly because they see people on TV, and to the young thinking mind, people are more attractive if they're on TV. There was a time when it was mostly the better looking people who made it on TV, but since then anyone can be on TV or in movies, and there will always be the hero worshipers who look at them as better, the Kardashians being an example.
  20. Thailand's transfer dates correspond with the US. If the date you receive your benefits is on a weekend, you should receive them the Friday before. I've received benefits on a Friday a few times, when it was the 3rd on the Saturday or Sunday. I've never received benefits on a weekend. The same with a Monday holiday. If it's your date, you'll receive your benefits on the Tuesday after. The SS is going through changes, mainly the one where everyone has to switch to Login.gov. This could be why I didn't get my benefits yesterday, as I'm still in the processing stage for Login.gov. although Like I mentioned, it's strange I received my daughters.
  21. I don't think there are transfers on weekends. I get mine on the 3rd of every month, and did my daughter's yesterday as they release them on Fridays if your date occurs on a weekend. As far as I know, no transfers on any days besides working days.
  22. With all the changes they're making, you have to be aware of them. I wasn't until recently, and I'm wondering if it's why I still haven't received my benefits, even though I did for my daughter. Weird.
  23. Go to your Mysocialsecurity, if you have one. It tells you to change to Login.gov. Everyone;s supposed to do it.
  24. I called them today, in the US, after waiting almost 2 hours on hold. She asked me for all my information, which I gave her, and kept saying I need more. I gave her everything they needed, things I applied with when I moved here, and she was confused on the addresses. I still get mail at my ex wife's mom's house, where I applied, although I tried a few times to change to my actual address, where I've lived for 6 years, and couldn't. The system didn't allow for a change, which is strange. She asked me to read off my mail I get from SS, the address, which is mom's house, and I did, but still came back and repeatedly asked me for the same information, until finally she hung up. I go through Manila, and have tried to contact them many times over the last 9 months and all I get are emails saying the same things. I recently applied to switch to Login.gov, as it's mandatory, and I'm waiting for that to process. Tuesday I will call Manila, as Tuesday and Thursday are the only days you can call. Tuesday morning I will see if my benefits come in the bank, as Monday is another holiday here. It's just very strange that my daughter's came through, although late in the day, and mine didn't, this after receiving both the same day, within minutes of each other, in almost 7 years. I was thinking since my Login.gov was still in the processing stage, it might hold back my benefits, but to get one and not the other? I would think I would either receive both, or neither if that was the case.
