Fredwiggy understands all about accidents, so don't be like some others here and assume just because it's you that blames everything else but the drivers first. Your words earlier.................."A characteristic of Thai roads is they 'behave" vey badly in rain. They drain poorly, the surface loses traction and markings get obscured." ............This is a characteristic of roads worldwide, with some things, like snow and ice, not a problem in Thailand. Not an excuse for bad driving here. And this.............."If a driver makes a mistake - like evrybody does, it is much more likely to be compounded into a serious event"..................Not everyone has accidents. In fact I know many in my life that are older than I that never had an accident. If you're a safe driver, you wouldn't be going fast on wet roads, where oil plays a part, on curves or on roads you aren't familiar with.
-
So you're putting the blame first on the 5 E's? Wrong. They mean a lot, but they aren't the one to first blame. And again, it isn't racist to say many people in a certain country are bad drivers. it's a fact, and the stats prove this. Many drivers that get into accidents aren't stupid either. They just aren't good drivers.

Oh, you mean things I understood in high school? Before, you stated that the roads were somehow to blame for accidents. We have gone over this many times and you're still missing the point that accidents are first and foremost the drivers fault. If you don't speed on wet roads, you reduce the chances of losing control. Why does a person lose control of his vehicle? If the road is bad, you slow down so you, the driver, can handle it. Many drivers aren't good drivers, which means they should understand their abilities and compensate for them, This doesn't happen because people have egos. They think they are better drivers than they actually are, and take risks. Speeding is one, as is driving with distractions in their vehicle. Also using a vehicle that has problems or isn't roadworthy. That police aren't doing their jobs isn't the cause for the accidents themselves. Letting people drive that have been caught drunk before, and not punishing them severely enough is a problem, as it keeps drivers on the road who don't care about themselves or others. Not enforcing laws already on the books is a problem, but if people would follow the rules of safe driving, accidents would virtually disappear. There are reasons accidents happen, and people are the first cause. Inability to drive safe in all conditions is on them. Not letting people drive a vehicle until they are competent enough is the driver's license bureaus deal. Stricter testing would keep more bad drivers from driving in the first place. Fining them if they break the laws might have some think before they drive recklessly again, but since people have those egos, many don't give a <deleted>. Again, this has been going in circles and you still don't understand I'm agreeing with some things you say, like other reasons accidents keep happening here, but again, it's still first on the drivers. A good driver can drive in any weather condition, road condition, or amount of traffic and they won't have any accidents unless some reckless driver that isn't competent enough or care enough about others runs into them while they're obeying the traffic laws, meaning the safe driver. Trying to tell me what I already know isn't going anywhere. You need to understand who is first at fault when an accident happens anywhere on earth.

That typo was from another's quote. It wasn't mine. It happens sometimes when people put more than one person's replies together.

Actually I had a college level spelling ability in 4th grade elementary. That is what's called a typo, and it wasn't mine.

More people believe in God than don't, and in all western countries. It's actually gullible to believe that the universe and everything in it, wasn't created with a purpose and came to be from not a creator but a big bang that happened by itself. Not to start another discussion on the pros and cons as it isn't worth going over it again. -
I have never said I look down or despise them. I actually feel badly for them, thinking they need to go to this trade to make money, besides the ones that are forced into it by traffickers, scumbag parents or addictions. Most have been assaulted as children by family members in some way, again, besides the ones noted before. If you think it's a good thing to promote this trade, where women are used, beaten and sometimes killed, that's your problem, as it's not the glamorous thing some believe. It has nothing to do with religion but morality, something which some lack and is one reason the world is so out of kilter. Bigoted? Another word chosen that's wrong. Being "religious" isn't a bad thing, but I'm guessing you don't understand that. And I'm not against people who don't believe in God. That's their choice, and I have a few friends who don't, and it doesn't affect our relationship. By the way, many of them aren't earning money for family but drugs and survival in a city far from home, and they would be much better off with a lesser paying job and home with any children they might have, staying with family for a lot less than in a big city and taking a risk with their lives and health, as many , a high percentage, carry STD's, some of which you stated you caught.
-
You're a very disturbed little man scuba. You pay for sex, with a high percentage of women here who have tatts, maybe 90% or more, so do you consider them all lower class, these women you spend so much time with and sometimes get an STD from? By the way, I've been with almost 100 women, and none had tattoos, so your assumption, again, is wrong. I have 5 children, all with a way above average IQ, and all have tattoos, so there's another assumption out the window.

Well ,my dad had a tattoo, from being in the Army, and his IQ was above 150

RIP. Now you can have actual conversations with God himself. -
It's always best to do some research and not go by what another has said. People do lie, exaggerate, fib, bend the truth, deflect, aggrandize, overestimate and dramatize things, and when one tells another something, by the time you hear it, it could be the opposite of what was originally said. The This embassy is the one that deals with immigration issues, and they have quite a history, so they should know the laws, as well as a lawyers office.

Yes, they broke the law, and there's a reason millions of others who have tattoos aren't in prison. They didn't break the law.

What colors should America have? The reason I'm asking is that, when I was there last November-December, I noticed many brown people in the south Texas area, along with blacks, light browns, chocolate browns, off yellows, reds, off whites and few other color variations. If you think we should go about removing some of these browns you think don't belong, I could call my uncle Tony in New Jersey and make him an offer he couldn't refuse. That is, if you had enough cash to feed his bottomless pockets. I think there are quite a few areas in the Meadowlands we could still find.

I got my information from the Thai embassy. Where did you get yours? Here's another, a Thai lawyers office, which should know..........https://thailawonline.com/dtv-visa-thailand-apply-thai-e-visa/#3-requirements-subject-to-change..................No, a sponsor letter does not completely waive the financial requirements for a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). While a sponsor letter can be used to demonstrate financial support, it doesn't replace the need for the applicant to have their own proof of sufficient funds, such as bank statements,. The DTV requires applicants to demonstrate they have at least 500,000 THB in liquid assets, according to Siam Legal International. It's possible for one to have a sponsor, but they have to show financial support also. A letter isn't enough, and I'm thinking not many have gone this route. People say things to others, and they take it as gospel.
-
I didn't make an opinion. I asked you to tell me why those with tattoos are lower class. They aren't, as class has nothing to do with having or not having a tattoo but how you carry yourself. There are millionaires with tattoos, celebrities and politicians. This also doesn't mean they have a lot of class but most wouldn't look at them as lower class. Who are these others that agree with you that those with tattoos are lower class? You do know what birds of a feather means right?
-
Look at what you said.........."I think you're wrong. You need only to pay a ticket. That's all. The DTV will give you permission to stay all year round. No money required. That's why all riffraff comes now to Thailand. It's cheap. How you spend your life? Nobody cares". Every fool needs 500,000 baht in the bank to stay. It isn't free. You don't know how many crooks are coming in. Of course there are crooks here, and some are foreigners, many involved in the drug and trafficking trade. Some are hired by locals, like illegals are working in the US. Some , very few I suppose, are here to pickpocket, because by yourself it isn't an easy trade, so you need a partner or two to make it profit. You get caught once, you can be deported. No one alive knows how many foreign crooks are here, as well as how many Thai crooks are here, some of which are officials. . ,
