  1. Way back in 2008 I ended up in the hospital in Bangkok. I got out and was resting up and only had 5 days left on my visa exempt stay in Thailand so decide to do a border run to Aranya Prathet-Poipet. On trying to re-enter Thailand the immigration officer said I had stayed longer than 90 days in Thailand in the last 180 days so I would have to go to Phnom Penh and apply for a tourist visa. He said Cambodia would allow me to re-enter with the visa I had just used. I really did not want to make the trip on buses from Poipet to Phnom Penh. I told the immigration officer I had 5 days left on my stay before leaving Thailand, showed him my hospital bill and basically begged him to let me back into Thailand. He gave me one day in Thailand. I got a bus back to Bangkok and was on a plane the following day to Kuala Lumpur so never found out if Cambodia would have allowed me to re-enter on my used visa.

If you are visiting Phnom Rung you should try and visit Prasat Muang Tam. It is included in the ticket price for Phnom Rung and is only a short distance away.
  4. I have not seen "On the Line" but watched Bandit over the weekend and thought it was an OK film with Mel Gibson. I also enjoyed "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" with Nicolas Cage. Not a great movie but still found it a bit funny at times. I don't recall the last Bruce Willis or Liam Neeson film I have seen. I do plan on checking out Tulsa King later this month with Sylvester Stallone which I would also put in the has been class of actors.
  5. A month has gone by has anyone found one of these misprinted 20 Baht banknotes and can provide a picture of the error?
  6. I have a large library of ebooks that I believe were downloaded from a torrent site but not sure how I would share it. Lately I have not been using this library but getting most of the books I have been reading from https://z-lib.org/ which @OBOR shared on this thread back in June.
  7. I have US Charles Schwab accounts and love them but don't have any experience with an international account. I asked them prior to applying for my Thai retirement visa if I could us a Thai address and they told me I would need to convert to an international account. I have a US virtual address so did not convert the account. I also have a skype US phone number and even though I am not able to receive text messages Schwab will do an automated phone call for One Time Passwords. If you find out if there are any differences in the International account compared to the US accounts can you please share them.
  8. Thanks for the advice. It got me past the ID number and then had other problems. I just went to the PEA office and seems I had the wrong app. When I got the correct app my passport number worked and the PEA people did all the rest in setting up the app for me. I now just need to see if I can pay online at the first of the month.
  9. I have installed this app but having a issue with the profile wanting a Identification Number and will not accept my Passport Number. Is it possible to use this app if you don't have a pink ID card?
  10. Fabulous 103FM says it was to do with underage workers but think they may be just repeating what the police told them. It is talked about at about 1 minute into the video in the middle of the police chief story.
  11. I pity the fool that grabs Stamp Fairtex inappropriately when she is walking down walking street.
  12. Has anyone watched Abbott Elementary or The Dropout and mind giving me their opinion if either are worth downloading? I have watched most of nomination that interested me but seemed to have missed any reviews of these 2 series.
