Are the pictures from the Red Lotus Viewpoint? I have attempted to see red lotus from a few places and these photos you have seem much better than what I have seen. I think I may go to Udon in 2026 to see the red lotus but not sure if it is worth the ride.

When you did all this for the filing what language did you communicate with. My Thai would not be up to the level required and I doubt my local RD office will have the English level either. The money I remit to Thailand is not from income but from savings but have no idea if they will accept my foreign bank account totals as proof. I don't plan to attempt to file for 2024 but may attempt to file next year for 2025 because I will be remitting a lot more than the 100K baht that I did in 2024.

Maybe outside the scope of this thread but how do you deal with things that require a certificate of residence (CR)? Do you have the Pattaya address on the CR while living in Chiang Mai? Would you be able to buy a motorbike in Chiang Mai using an CR from Pattaya?

If you like these shows you may also enjoy Irrational. It only has a 7 on imdb so not rated as High as High. I have been watching both High Potential and Irrational. I am also watching season 24 of Law and Order so have my fill of cop shows.

Of the movies on this list there is not one that I have seen that I would give a strong recommendation for but only one that I would have been upset to pay ฿100 to see. I can't recall any movies from 2024 that I would highly recommend right now but am sure there was something and that it was covered on this thread within 2024.

I don't recall anyone talking about The Sticky on this thread. I finished watching season 1 yesterday and thought it was OK. It did end on a bit of a cliff hanger and it is unclear if there will be a second season.

Do you have any tips about how to get Google voice to work while in Thailand? Everything I have read is that you have to be in the US to get it working.

If you find an alternative that you like can you please share it? I don't make many international calls but was always nice to have a cheap way to place calls anywhere in the world. I hope the free calling of 800 numbers keeps working even if I use up all of my credit. I also have a skype phone number and hope this keeps without a calling subscription. I use it for one time passwords for my banking but may need to find a different way to get these.

I downloaded and watched "The Thicket" yesterday. It is not a great movie but I still enjoyed it. I usually don't watch anything with an IMDB rating below a 6 but noticed this film had an Rotten Tomatoes score of 80. Do you look at the Rotten Tomatoes score when deciding to watch something? I would rate this movie about a 6.4 so above the 5.8 it has on IMDB but well below the 80 it has on Rotten Tomatoes.

The thing I find frustrating is the lack of details on issues like this. Until someone does a tax return we may not know how the RD will see these distributions and it may change between the current remitted income and if this global income comes into law.
