Yes.. just releasing it would have made more sense..and saved a lot of speculation and perhaps animosity towards falang... glad she has now gone to a police station and confessed..
The pictures in the article of the Russian, look like they are stills from a CCTV recording, you can see the yellow timing line with a blob on the line showing when/time in the video the still is from..
The immigration officer could have asked them ''Are you going to be naughty in Thailand'?
Depending on their answer he could then decide to admit them or reject them...
Perhaps the copper was drunk or was angry and lost face when the Kiwis did not stop and went for his gun to just shoot him .. and the Kiwi quite scared for his life went to disarm him...
I am NOT saying this is what happened, they may just have been a pair of eejits trying to resist arrest.... But I would like to hear the Kiwis version of events..
I do not speak Thai well enough to understand what the newsreaders were saying.
But to me the bloke wrestling the copper on the floor to me does not look like he is going all in to bash up the copper and damage him ....
Like I say I would like to hear both sides of the story first...
And if they are guilty of bashing the copper up then fine... throw the book at them..
Just watched the video... maybe I was hasty in my judgement.. it looks like he MIGHT have been trying to restrain the policeman and remove his firearm to prevent something bad from happening once he takes possession he immediately gives it to his mate to make safe .. and his friends body language does not look threatening or aggressive...
All the above might be a load of cobblers.. but I would like to hear what the Kiwis have to say...
Bob there is another thread open now, about a woman with bad injuries from being attacked by monkey's... this is why the vendors are trying to scare them off...
