A few cups of coffee a day, keeps the doctor away, innit? I drink 5-6 per day, never sick.

Seems you have a disease in your plants, other than that it looks long from done. Maybe more luck on your next round.

Entering Thailand after deportation
ChaiyaTH replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Won't matter where she enters, she will have this note in the most recent history attached to her name. By getting a proper visa and entering, then building up new recent history, it would stop happening. This is common, also happens after the 1y blacklist overstay which I did on purpose to get a break from TH 5 years ago. After 3-4 visa / extensions never heard of it again. I still use the same passport with the red stamp in it too. -
Very bad idea, most of your weed will be dried out and the little active THC it has, will also deplete. You might as well just buy it by the joint each month in that case. Even you keep it dry, cool, in the dark, longer than 6-12 months will be the end of it. You could also just buy normal tobacco and put oil on the paper, the oil can last much longer. But yeah, if you smoke so rarely, any weed would make you lift off to space.

He obviously means the custom required background colors, sitting straight, eyes and mouth etc. Hard to do in a booth, but i actually never even seen a booth in Thailand like they do have abroad. I always do multiple sizes and background colors with 10 copies each, last for years and you always have what a country or embassy / government wants. Same all other papers, except for the most recent stamp I have 10 copies of all previous ones too. Got it stacked in one big portfolio map with sections, quite a thing, but well worth it. I always have whatever a place needs from me, if I don't have it, it won't exist.

It's like having a bad credit score, you need to build up your rep again and do what they told you that day; get a visa when coming back. -
And your second assumption is added to the story already. BTW, if you knew that for a fact, why did you go in the first place.

New edict tightens controls on non-medical use of cannabis in Thailand
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Maybe you have to read again before you feel offended like the woke generation does. I answered your questions in terms of why you think it would far fetched or so difficult to know XYZ and I am honestly surprised you think that, if you lived here long enough or did any local business. Also, if you actually been around the entire Thailand, you would notice that there is a ton of those shops, as I originally described. That the majority is Thai owned, has nothing to do with what I stated. Most bars in quantity are also owned by Thais, so what. Anyway point was made, I guess you do not see much of Thailand all the time, else you would understand it already. Seems most members here live very static 99% of the time. -
You are subjective to think the good reviews are because of the previous old promotion price of 99 baht. So you are wrong only, I would think a good pizza at 200-300 is still a good deal too.

New edict tightens controls on non-medical use of cannabis in Thailand
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I try to understand what you are saying, but i do not at all. It is very easy to know when a business is registered, takes 30 seconds. Aside of that, it is very easy to know when a foreigner works illegally, as most things you do in a shop, the foreigner can not do under Thai law. Secondly, you can easily tell if someone has 4 staff, or not. Far fetched? Not at all, maybe you are new in Thailand or actually someone doing this, thus trying to defend this? Anyone who lives in TH and knows of business locally, knows what I said. -
To claim 10% is simply BS, specially knowing what times we are at now with higher interests, this will slow stock growth. So if you want to claim 7% that comes down to 56,000 baht per year. Nowadays agents for the 800K easily charge 35-40K per year. That means the actual diference or loss is is only 21,000 baht or less. This while you can still use these funds for over 6 months as well, thus theoretically you could still make 3.5% back and the real loss is ZERO. Not to mention, now interest rates go up, you likely will even get a bit more decent percentage, so no need to even invest or take actions yourself anymore (on the 400-800K). Yes, it would been naive if you made the transfer in the past few years, at 30-33 baht per dollar.

New edict tightens controls on non-medical use of cannabis in Thailand
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It was illegal already to smoke inside businesses, so I assume they meant it is now illegal too if you smoked it 100% pure. Anyway, the way shops are run now, much more rules are needed. Like every shop I came across so far, is run by a foreigner who just lived here a few years, does not have a company, does not have 4 staff, no work permit, nothing. This while millions of baht are made, it is almost crazy that the cops are not all over it. I know quite a few of those owners, and none are paying the cops, they simply didn't come (yet). If you did any form of other business in TH, you would be raided within a week. -
British man sentenced for rape in UK flees to Thailand
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Obviously you can, else everyone would go into hiding. You have the opportunity to defend yourself when you have been served, it is your own responsibility to make sure you show up. Many who fled here think that their debts are forgotten too, not knowing they have been convicted by civil court already, and it just waits for them to one day return / show up. -
British man sentenced for rape in UK flees to Thailand

Totally different case and scenario, as Vorayuth has multiple nationalities, he is not wanted on any except the Thai one. He does not travel with his Thai passport either. It's not that difficult to do this, you can get a carribean passport within 6 weeks from Dubai for around 150K USD. You never even have to visit there, you leave Dubai with the new one. These passports have easy access to USA, Schengen, Commonwealth countries etc. So when doing a crime, you just need to make sure it's enough to buy that one lol. -

No but you could first travel to other countries, then enter a non-eu country by land, and then fly to Thailand. Nobody would know for this level of crime. -
If he is quoted the 6K you also will need to know which type of implant, if it is the strausmann that cost easily up to 100K baht in TH too, that's 4200 AUD already. But I would recommend that link in BKK i send you in that case, they are big and nice, speak english too.

Made the mistake of buying a 50 inch TV on Lazada, that was 1K baht cheaper than in Big C. It arrived broken, made photos, submit to return, picked up 3-5 days later, refund 2 weeks later. Bought the same TV at Big C meanwhile. Was about 20K. Is complete nonsense to speak about 90% rating stores, needing to not use cash on delivery etc, complete BS. Obviously a poor rated long existing store will clearly have issues but other than that, it is simply per shop and client a different case. I can imagine non-thai speaking people that come over as high-demanding, always having trouble, in every aspect of Thai life. You just have to be chill, polite and patient here, but consistent, then all usually works out here.

Silly poll it is, if the first answer is yes, the second and third question is pointless. We just need around 950 more votes to have a small data sample worth looking at too.
-
@LukKruengJust did a quick check on Istanbul again, but that's really a significant difference... Average only 20-25K baht per implant using the same quality. That's like you break even on just 1-2 implants with flight ticket and hotel / holiday on top. Very strange actually, the dentists here must be super greedy, as they also produce in Asia / TH.

I just bought $200,000 of Bitcoin
ChaiyaTH replied to Pravda's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
How is your 150K doing? or is it less? hehe -
I need to do 10+ implants over time, I am considering going to Istanbul for this instead as it's better priced and service. I did found a interesting option in BKK if you are open to that: https://bfcdental.com/en/price/
