I used to have medical insurance for many years. But problem always was that it was like "we will not pay any medical claim under 10 000 baht, we will not pay any medical claim over 500 000 Baht and it will be 30 000 baht a year". What's the point of insurance like this? At Wednesday I was at hospital, I talked with doctor and got prescribed antibiotics. I was charged 50 Baht for consultation and 100 baht for antibiotics. Whenever I visit Thai hospital it is always within this range. So these types of claims are not covered. And claims that would really <deleted> me up, like 5 000 000 Baht accident, are also not covered. So what's the even point of this type of medical insurance. None. 😑

Yesterday I was at our village hospital, met a older lady that we know, her son in handcuffs and two cops. Son spent last week doing drugs 24/7, mother got enough, called cops to take him to hospital and forcibly detox him. If you can do this with junkie son, you can definitely do it with people stabbing mentally ill son.

They don't take it very seriously here in the Isaan village. I'm getting a call at 1:30 am; a local farang I knew just died. His wife wants us to come there because she doesn't have many other people to call. So we go there. Of course, there's also a local electric blackout. So we enter the bedroom, with a body that was alive just 45 minutes ago. We're using just flashlights. I'm about to have a panic attack or pass out there. No so long ago it was absolutely out of the questing to speak against Jews. I remember very well on Reddit there was "Free Hong Kong" movement that went for months. Then somebody started "Free Palestine" movement which got a huge traction. Withing 12 hours everything was delete, everybody banned and there was no more "Free Palestine" movement. That was maybe 2 years ago. But since January 2024 we are suddenly allowed to criticize Jews. And even encouraged. There are news how they are bombing children. News about anti Jews protest. News about this and that. Just right now if you look in new threads on this website there are 3 active anti Jew threads. Not so long ago you were not allowed to criticize them privately and suddenly mass media itself are pushing against them? What caused such a dramatic shift? 🤨

And I super hate these kind of laws. Goverment should be somebody who takes 20% of my income and build roads and hospitals. Not somebody who tells me when I can drink alcohol or what to think about holocaust. 😑

I don't really care about 2pm and 5pm because there is million shops run by Thais that will sell you alcohol at any time. What sucks is ban after midnight. Because all the small shops are already closed and only thing left opened is 7/11 which won't sell it. That sucks! 🫤

"still slightly painful almost 2 hrs later" I was bitten by big one. It took me 15 seconds to decide to go to hospital. Between being bitten and getting numbing shot I took maybe 20 minutes, but I remember every minute very vividly. Especially nurse approaching me like she gives me the numbing shot, nah, I have to go to pharmacy, approaching again, nah, I have to take blood pressure, approaching again, nah, I have to fill in paper work. 😄 While I was fainting there. And for the next week I was on pain killers. 3 weeks later, everything back to normal and in the middle of the night I wake up with hand twice the size again. And unresistable itching and twitching and pain. Back to normal. Week 4 the same. And week 5 again the same. It was coming in waves. It went fully away in maybe 5 weeks. So you complaining about 2 hours, bro ... . On bright side I heard that spiders and scorpions are much less painful here, so we have the worst out of our way.

If it is ignition why it is no intermittent while he is driving? Why it only refused to start again after driving? Usually you open-circuit ignition, you will ground CDI, no more spark, it dies while you drive.

It stops working after riding it and after a few minutes it will come back to the life. This will not be ignition switch. This will be electronics. Something with CDI or rectifier. If it was ignition it would be random, not only after riding it and it would not start working after waiting for a moment. Each of these parts costs 100 Baht a piece in Lazada and it has a simple connector, anybody can change it. So I would throw at it these parts before non logically changing ignition switch for 1500 Baht.

This isn't USA, it isn't as easy as looking if he's black to tell if you're dealing with criminal. It is much more complicated here.
