    I do, but it would be ridiculous to buy it to get drunk, I drink wine to enhance the dining experience, So one or two bottles week remains affordable. Otherwise I have given up on beer, it messes up my prostate, and I don't miss it anyway.

    The cost of energy has to increase. And don't forget that, in Thailand, low income people pay a discounted rate. And that's only fair as it is the higher income people who burn the Planet in disproportionate amounts.

    That's hilarious, because it legalises riding in the cargo bay, while seat belts would be mandatory on the front seats.. Only in Thailand..

    With regards to corruption the RTP is only a small/medium scale entreprise. Look at who is in power and you'll see the ones at the top. But they all wear a uniform, the primary tool for "collection".

    Just don't come to Thailand. And seriously think about leaving if you are here. The disproportion in treatment when dealing with justice is not acceptable. It is an expression of a deep rooted racism which makes this dangerous to us westerners.

    Is it, available in Thailand? Would be good news. Actually this would be the only reason I'd go to see a doctor if I got got Covid again. But the cost is about 10000 THB a treatment, so OPD insurance comes in handy.

    Exactly, my Covid was a total non event, one ATK to confirm, Tylenol for 3 and a half days, and a last ATK after a week. No bed, near normal activity, no Doctor, but I took a Moderna booster, a couple of weeks later. Couldn't postpone it.

    Varies a lot, you might be able to find a lot cheaper in Tasmania, or far away from capital cities, beaches, etc. In 1984 I bought my first 3 bedroom home in Melba, a nice Canberra suburb, for 73000. That was less than our combined yearly income. This place actually, check the asking price.

    I immigrated in 1981, and indeed, it was Utopia. Anyone willing to get off his butt was immediately sucked into the workforce. Real estate was dirt cheap, education was free, etc.

    We bought one, and use it mainly for french fries. Zero oil, only a slight shift in taste easy to adjust to. Extends one's life by half a year, at least.

    Just dump it by the roadside.. This applies to cats, dogs, fridges, bricks, whatever... Not far from my place they widened a totally deserted road to 4 lanes. Thought it was stupid, until I understood that it was the Thai approach to recycle refuse.
