I was surprised nobody French still wants to kill me but they said he is an English of French nationality so everyone is now free to shoot me
Actually I am French, but just had a bottle of cheap red wine, with 2003 vintage cheese, and a baguette I carried under my arm for one hour with the crowds coughing and sneezing on it.

Seems that the markets are aware of the fact that UK's NHS has about half the number of intensive care beds its European neighbours have.
BTW this fact is probably the what motivated BJ's "Herd immunity" response. Also is seem that Germany, typically, is way better then others in keeping its people alive.

I have started writing "Love in the time of Coronavirus". Back in January I was thinking of "Boomboom in the time of Coronavirus".

To preserve life!
Whilst most ably fit and active persons may suffer but recover without any medical intervention, the potential to spread this very infectious virus to elderly, especially with already underlying health issues could be deadly for them. (That may include you).
Yes but one could argue whether saving the lives of 50 to 100 million unproductive geezers, at the cost of the collapse of the economy is really worth it. I stop you right there before you go steaming, or worse, at 67 I am one of them.

It is most likely that a large number of out of work massage and bar ladies will return to their Isaan homes to see their families travelling mainly by bus. A sure fire way of distributing the virus.
Yes, and Kudos to Khun Newin who tries to implement screening/quarantining at the borders of our great Buriram province. Whether the average rice farmer boys and girls will be willing to assist is a different matter.

Bad reporting, it should have been: "She was charged with theft at an airport, near gate 4, at night and changing shirt"

obtained a Non-O in neighboring country based on married to a Thai. When he went to Jomtien to apply for one year extension, he did so for "retirement"
Wasn't that just looking for trouble. My guess is that somewhere there is a reason to the drought of Non-O visas for retirement. Could it be that IB wants to push retirees to use Non OA or Non OX?

I am certainly not going to pay 6500 Bahts for a test which will be of no benefit to me. What happens if I am tested positive? I'll be sent to one of these prison camps, where I could well die from deprivation from the normal comforts of life. And if I develop the dreaded pneumonia no hospital in Thailand will be able to help me anyway. So follow the social distancing recommendations and hope for the best is the only choice we have.

Indeed, these two words together present a threat to the planet much greater than any virus. Maybe we the coronavirus might end up saving lives through a timely revelation of the potentially lethal extent of the nationalism developing in some countries.

I have 90k worth of non refundable hotel bookings 2 weeks in Koh Chang, next week and 1 week in Krung Thep and of April. Looks more and more likely that I will write off the 90 Grands, chill out at home, in Issan, and entertain the kids the best I can.

Is not thai virus. Is foreign.
So, when you say the virus isn't Thai don't you infer that the said virus has a nationality? Which is it?
Just hope that the coming generation will see "Nationality", just like Religion as BS that slows progress and threatens the preservation of our species and its environment.

I have to admire the depth of their investigation. But they deliberately omit the fact that he used his middle finger.
