The Brass Monkey Bar is quite a ways up, it's on the right hand side only a couple of minutes drive before the very top where the temple is.

We're not far from the lake in SSCC and we're on Sophon internet, we haven't got the cable tv as well but I know we can if we want. The internet is great, very rarely any problems, nice and fast etc.

Ok well 5:00 and no suggestions yet.
Does anyone know if that "Brass Monkey" has live music every weekend or was that a one-off thing when "The Big Smile Band" played there the other week?
Craig: Do you still have my number? If you want to venture to The Dark Side we could meet up for a brew or two.
If nothing happens in the next hour or so then I'm off to see Nathen and the Nathenettes around 8 or 9:00. lol.
The owners of The Brass Monkey and the guy who organised the music event there the other week are working on having regular live bands there, they've been talking to a couple of groups and it's looking good, so expect some live music there soon, Saturday nights is the plan I think. The Dark Side is rocking!!

It took about 6 weeks before it was all set up when we did ours, worth doing though, we have the water set up on direct debit as well.

Playing at The Brass Monkey Bar on Saturday night will be 'Band of Smiles' with special guest Roddy Lorimer who has played the trumpet with Eric Clapton for many years, The Brass Monkey is located in Soi Nern Plub Waan on the dark side, about 5km up from Sukhumvit on the right hand side, should be a great night, it starts from 20.30.

We have a nice big fridge that I keep in the garage for all my beer etc, it has worked fine up until recently, the usual guy we use took it away and said it couldn't be repaired, I said I wanted it back and will try somewhere else and low and behold it came back and he'd fixed it but it's conked out again, I would like to try someone i've never used so any numbers would be great, they'd have to come to my house to fix it probably.
Thanks

I'm a right in thinking then that until you actually get the car the year starts from that point - not when you just order the car from the dealer??

I'm married to a Thai and we would like to get this but I'm off to work next week, back in September, will the offer still be on then - does ANYONE know??
Thanks

When does this offer end, I've heard the end of this month and also the end of the year??
Thanks

I read somewhere recently that there are only 200,000 'ish registered local voters and I can guarantee that none of them are in any of the bars that I'll be in next weekend!!

I tried it again just now and I can get a couple of the local western stations but 103 and 105 are just crackle.

Thanks again peeps, we're got The Numchai dudes coming to check it. There is air being blown into the fridge but it's warm.
I've had to wrestle some of me ale into the wife's fridge, she ain't smiling - ha ha!!

Thanks peeps, the dial in the fridge was the first thing I checked it was on 3/4 high so I dialled it all the way to cold and it's still warm, I put a thermometer (I'm a nerd I know) into the wifes fridge and it was 5 oc, mine is 26 - hence the warm beer. I think I'll pop down to Numchai then.

We have a large upright fridge/freezer that all of a sudden isn't that cold, the freezer section is fine but the fridge is warm as is all of my beer in it, this fridge/freezer is mine and is full of wine and beer and ice cream.
Can anyone recommend a decent and honest electrician who could come and have a look at it first before it has to be transported?
Thanks

It's a shame but I'm really just bored of this now, we've been in our house here for nearly 5 years and i've never had a regular and decent consistently signal, I enjoy all of the local western stations but they JUST DONT WORK where we live ANYMORE, I have better music on my iTunes and now that I have a nice long decent cable from my Mac to the stereo i'm sticking with Radio 2 and Jazz FM via the net.

There is a dedicated FM socket, I have it plugged in and it goes up as high as possible up the wall, the signal on all FM radio's this morning is terrible.

Thanks folks for the replies, between the stereo and the tv we have the 3 cables, red, white and yellow, there is another plug on the back of the stereo be we have nothing in it, as I said when I play a DVD on the stereo to watch on the tv I can get the sound through the surround speakers in the wall but nothing through the stereo when just watching the normal TV, i'm guessing that if we were to get another cable plugged into the empty jack on the back of the stereo and plug it into the tv then it might work but unfortunately all of the cables that we currently have are all in the wall and through the ceiling, we had them all fitted when we built the house, I guess I'll just have to keep the volume up on the TV!!
Thanks

in Pattaya
Posted
Greetings peeps, as the title suggests we're after a good reliable and trustworthy cleaning lady to come round our house a couple of times per week for a few hours to clean through the house and outside as the Mrs is preggers.
Any good recommendations?
Thanks
