  1. What does it mean? That you can go to the immigration and extend the current 60 days visa exemption for another 60 days? Or I guess wrong?
  2. I would definitely apply for a retirement visa, also because I'm not married. I already have the financial requirements but I'm still far from 50 yrs. I can just wait
  3. My friend just come back to Thailand from doing a border run. He just made a flight reservation without paying, he showed the screenshot to the immigration officer and it has been accepted. Now I don't know if this can be done with the immigration at the airport but you could try
  4. My friend has reservated a flight out of Thailand within 60 days without paying. He showed screenshot to the immigration officer. No issues with that
  5. too many questions this immigration, they want to know too much. Good for me i am only a tourist here
  6. Less than 6 months a year here are good enough for me
  7. I am talking about the rules here, the system, it makes me feel bored even if i don't have any issues here. I am not complaining about the country(that i always like) don't get me wrong
  8. lol, did i mention nong khai- laos bridge? You are saying that! My agency said that the best borders are cambodia or malaysia. Maybe because they deal with immigration officers
  9. right now, the best borders with no issues are to cambodia or malaysia
  10. It's still only 2 times per year at chiang khong- huay xai laos border
  11. I am doing like that. I prefer to stay in Thailand for 5/6 months and then go back to my country, as I also like over there. And It's too hot here, especially from February/March, I don't like the hot weather. So I am ok to come here on visa exemption, single tourist visa or METV. I don't want to feel stressed about other type of visas as I only like to live here for maximum 6 months
  12. you are wasting your time to reply me, i don't interest what you wanna say, believe me
  13. On 2017 i was asked by an officer if i have money, i just answered yes of course and he let me in. But yes, i give incorrect info lol. Maybe i'm dreaming or i'm drunk
  14. just be careful everytime you go to take money at any atms! Always use a local currency, otherwise you will be overcharged with fees! I have 2 free commissions withdrawal a month, by the way
  15. Can't I say my opinion? It's this a forum or not? You always want to bite me every time I want to say something
  16. I don't see the problem to just stay 2 nights in a hotel in Laos and then go back to Thailand. There are hotels less than 1000 bth for a few nights.
  17. Not really... I often check on Skyscanner and it's like more than 4k bht go and back, even if only for a few days
  18. Are you really sure that I give false information? A friend of mine just showed 10k to the immigration officer from his Thai bank application on mobile phone and it was fine!
  19. why show cash money? And it's not just 1000 bht! To me is only make people get annoyed with all these useless rules
  20. why bring all that cash money? I would just show my bank account application on my phone if they might ask
  21. I would visit another Asian country for at least a week and then come back to Thailand. It shouldn't be a problem. I think is safer to just stay outside Thailand for some days but up to you. I don't mind to spend some money to visit others countries
  22. It's the 10k but and the informal interview only from the second border run?
  23. I think is a good idea to just fly to another Asian country, Vietnam, Cambodia... Visit for a week and then come back to Thailand. This border crossing like that doesn't has any sense
