Take a Pattaya agent. Not a lot of papers needed to get a visa. ????Actually the passeport is enough. -

Speak to them in private, but with a lawyer on your side. Let the lawyer make the talking. When working in Bangkok, our office had a great lawyer. Call them and ask for advice in this matter. https://www.htoosi.com

Retirement Visa Thailand ?
PeachCH replied to ThaiNoobie101's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you decide to use an Immigration agent, most of the requests, especially the financial aspects, will be skipped and you can lay back. Doing your application in Pattaya, you even don't have to visit the Immigration. A Google search will help. -

Number of foreigners on retirement visas
PeachCH replied to biervoormij's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You said: Hopefully one day, they stop the agents revolving door at Imm This day never will come. These payments are "part of the salary" for many immigration employees. It's no more so easy for the agents like before, but they always find a way around with the Immigration and Bangkok Bank. Would the agent being stopped, at least 30% of Pattaya's Falang population would be "whipped out". (This quote from a Pattaya agent)- 71 replies

So many retirees living in Pattaya with an income of around 1000 Euro. How they get all their visa? They just contact one of the immigration agent, who will do their yearly visa for a fee of about 12 - 15k. So you would be able to keep your savings. To Google search PATTAYA VISA AGENT and then inquire.

Advertorial Things to consider before deciding to retire in Thailand
PeachCH replied to ASEAN NOW Sales's topic in Bangkok
Well, one of my friends is living in Pattaya. Alone in his condo 15 people are using the service of an agent and many of them since years. Its more or less common in Pattaya. An easy way to stay for people over 50 years old, who don't can afford the financial requirements or don't want their money blocked in a bank account. -
Why run around? If you want to open a BANGKOK BANK account without headache, contact an Immigration agent. For a fee he can open for (with) you ????
