  1. don't forget the dogs....lol
  2. You are right on the money there! The Ford IS like a car , the Toyota is a light truck. But - I bought my Father in law an XLT Supercab Ranger in 2019, we sold it after 4 years, because he hardly used it (he thought it was too special to drive as his normal car!) - only 7000ks on it. We lost 50% on it... However , I buy cars to enjoy now - not to make or save money later!
  3. Yep. The old slow one! Same donk as the wildtrak. I get my speed thrills from my big bikes now , and memories of my Shelby Super snake I had in Oz before I moved here.
  4. I had a Raptor - but changed it for another Wildtrak. The added comfort , and the fact that I don't do a lot of Baja racing were the main reasons. If I want to drive fast - I prefer to drive a fast car or motorbike - rather than a light truck.
  5. When I do more than 100,000 k per year , I need to change my vehicles - for reliability & 'modernisation' - and because I can. BTW. 'fourth' not 'forth'. Also I am not - and never have been - a Toyota fanboy.
  6. The Toyota will definitely give you better resale value - if that is a concern. The Toyota drives and feels like a truck - because it is. The Ford is a more comfortable and civilised vehicle - much easier to live with. I have driven both. Spoiler alert… I am currently driving my fourth Ranger variant..
  7. Some of the FB stock may be old stock. If you buy online , you will still need to pay for fitting and balancing - @ about 2-300 baht per wheel. B Quik etc are convenient - but definitely not cheap. good deals can be found from reputable sellers on Lazada or Shopee - just make sure to check the sellers ratings…
  8. You are another new poster? One of the best wind-ups I have seen for a long time.... You simply have no idea! LL is an expert on absolutely everything.
  9. I bought my genuine Rolex Date just at MBK last week. 2000 Baht. So probably no real problem wearing it around Bangkok...
  10. Great explanation. In my case , I am a fairly hard driver, so I tend to wear the shoulders of my front wheels, so I rotate f-r every 10,000 k. The best tyres should be on the steering (ie front) wheels.
  11. I thought that BYD were going to 'take over' the now defunct Chevrolet factories and showrooms.
  12. No. Mitsubishi Electric produces air conditioners & home appliances.
  13. Not sure what you are talking about here? Subaru, Suzuki & Mitsubishi do not produce any 'big smoky V8'....
  14. What a loser! Still wearing the same singlet he got when he was 8 years old!
  15. Yes. If I remember correctly Covid19 became much more dangerous after midnight. apparently....
  16. This 'first Bird Flu victim' was already a time bomb. tick , tick , tick .... boom
  17. giving a location might help!
  18. I had the previous model 2.0 diesel raptor - just not enough ponies! Eventually swapped it for a current model Wildtrak - same same, but different. As Ralf001 said, the V6 Raptor with a manual transmission would be awesome 😎
  19. Start a “Go Fund Me”?
  20. we would sometimes get 'Gorillas' an obscure rhyming slang from Dian Fosseys' 'Gorillas in the mist'
  21. 10K is chump change for most 'scammed' Farangs..
  22. with the potential criminalisation of weed again - it would seem that the proponents of this bill, are smoking more than their fair share, while they still can... complete pie in the sky rubbish!
  23. Whoops!! sorry - I meant Trat!
  24. some okay beaches on Koh Chang (near Trat) - but a lot of rocky ones too. IMO Cha-am and Hua Hin are not much better than Jomtien - maybe a tad cleaner - but still open and boring. The best beaches I have been to in LOS were on Koh Phangnan. Not fantastic, but look good, swimming is okay , and not too many punters.
