We dont all have personal transport to go to the really good fruit markets.... Except for the Tuesday Friday market....This was the only decent place to buy fruit in this part of Pattaya....And No the $$ supermarkets dont count....

Not only is the fruit market closed....But about 6-7-8? Shops next to it are closed too....Some thing BIG will be built here......I dont know if the fruit market moved? Or just closed.

Some people are so desperate to pay Thai taxes that they are even willing to pay taxes on un-taxable income..... And are beating the door down at the tax office to get a TIN....

The Thais love paperwork and a bank print out might not be good enough...So they very well could want farang to go to the city dump to dig through all the trash to find the original ATM receipts that the farang so carelessly threw in the bin...

Well Tony and his daughter and sister will be first on the wealth confiscation list...With their houses and Dubai and London... But then again a very strong possibility....They will conveniently overlooked........Like with Tonys stock sale non-tax......

Yea......Take all those rich peoples money.....And give it all to retired expats who are living in Thailand on a fixed pension and are over the age of 60. I just happen to meet all these requirements......So I think this is a great idea....

In my opinion, there's an easy revenue stream just stilling there untapped for the Thai government. Are you kidding? Every single poster in these tax threads from day #1 form one year ago is aiming to get as close to paying 0.0% in taxes as possible........EVERY SINGLE POSTER no exceptions.... Any tax money collected will fall far far short of expectations..... The tax money will be anything but EASY money for the Thais....

I am no expert on getting Thai Citizenship... But I do know being able to show past years tax returns is very important part of the application requirements... Along with a very long long list of other things.....

I did some reading up on the world wide income tax.........And I found out the whole thing is a big mess.....There is a whole lot of disagreement between countries about who get what and how much....And the USA is pretty much refusing to join...... The whole thing could collapse at any time... Its FAR FAR FAR from a sure thing..... I guarantee it wont happen for a number of years if at all. 2025, 2026, 2027 You can forget these years IT IS NOT HAPPENING.

I say no friggin way they can ever hope to keep up with all money transfers coming in from every country on earth......ATMs, Credit Cards. Western Union, Wise, Wires,direct deposits bla bla.....Mix in 20-30 million tourist.......And........It will NEVER happen...Ever....

If you think the Indian the Chinese or the Russian expats which VASTLY VASTLY out number the farang expats will be lifting so much as a finger to slave over or fill in tax forums or dig up bank records, or burn the midnight oil trying to figure out the vastly complicated DTAs.,or having sleepless nights over accessible and non accessible income... Its on the left side.....He and and his wife? girl friend? employee? stall /stand has a a very nice and large selection of Samsung Galaxy phones.....I bought a S21 about a year ago there for 7500 baht....Ok this was not rock bottom pricing....But he did a total data and photo transfer for free and threw in a plastic screen cover for free too... My S21 was as good as new and was Wayyyyyy cheaper than a new Samsung Galaxy...

When you get off the escalator go to your right till you get to the last isle before the long row of shops......Walk to the very end......And in that last square of phone sellers, there is a Thai guy working there......I have bought a few good phones from him the last few years...

The only one who mentioned fraud was you.... If no taxes are due there is nothing to file..... And from reading these tax treads for a year now it seems about 99% of posters figure they will be paying 0.0% in taxes or pretty close to it one way or another.....I dont think I have ever read a post by someone who shooting for a 35% tax....

Yep not hardly a single day goes by in Thailand without the VAST VAST corruption in all levels of government being exposed.....And besides, dodging taxes in Thailand is a national sport.....Especially for the very wealthy who avoid paying taxes like the plague........

Right you are.......To even check you own balance in your own bank now requires a few levels of verification...... No way.....Will foreign banks be sharing private banking information with the Thai tax office........NOT EVER....

100% wrong.......If no taxes are due no income tax needs to be filed...... If this was not true.....Then about 85% of Thais would need to be sent to jail for not filing.....Not so much as a single time in their life.. Almost the entire Thai population would need to be arrested and sent to prison..
