If you can not find a fan its better to just leave Thailand....Its hopeless..
  2. Try reading the reviews on Google wallet on Google play download...Very bad reviews.....I can not even download Google wallet on a Samsung Galaxy 8 in Thailand.
  3. There must be millions of package come into Thailand every year that are not from Ebay Amazon Lazada Shopee ect........And that is going to be a huge problem for customs..... I can see warehouses full of packages waiting to be processed for the tax Even a 10 baht package would need to pay VAT....
  4. Well that would mean a higher tax would need to be paid some where along the line...
  5. So on a package thats worth 100 baht....They will have to process the package how many times to make sure they get their 7 baht tax? Then you must go down to the post office and stand in line to pay your 7 baht tax to get your package...lol
  6. How many years now has the high speed rail been talked about? Must be almost 10 years now.....The deal was signed in 2019 which was 5 years ago...How much track has been built?......ZERO....YEP....ZERO...
  7. I recommend a 12 inch Hatari Fan.....It puts out almost as much air as a 16 or 18 inch fan and uses a lot less electricity.....I have tried them all.....Now I only use 12s....
  8. This heat wave is costing me a lot of money... My usual electric bill in the condo cost around 1500, 1600 baht a month....Last months bill was a whopping 3200 baht......This is my highest electric bill EVER in Thailand I tried to not use the air so much but I was sweating like a pig in the condo with the aircon off... 3200 baht for one month of electricity is crazy......I would rather spend that money on more important things like drinking in bars.... They really should give farangs FREE electricity because we are not use to this heat like the Thais are..... Has anyone else seen a big increase in their electric bill?
  9. I wonder how long till the first baht bus E.V fire...
  10. If the EV taxi results were good in Chang Mai they would be more than happy to tell everyone...
  11. The single biggest drain on your EV battery, other than actually driving, is climate control. Whether that's keeping you cool in summer or toasty in winter, systems typically require about 3-4kW to run, which equates to seven miles of range per hour to run the air-con and five miles per hour to run heaters.May 18, 2566 BE Yes Aircon is a huge emery suck on the EVs battries.....
  12. Not only this time of year.......The beach walkway has pretty much no people there sunrise to sunset 365 days a year except festival days...... They made the beach unusable during daylight hours...
  13. 10,000 is not a bad price .....Does this include EVERY THING? Or is this just their fee and you still have to pay the passport renewal fees?
  14. Can you drop your passport off at the American Embassy and they do the renewal then you go pick it up when its ready?
  15. Did anyone tell the Thais EVs need to be charged often when doing long hours of city driving like the baht buses do....Using the aircon drains the charge very fast..
  16. Only a first class fool would buy a EV......Especially a pick up EV..... Millions in the west are ditching EVs..
  17. Yes Folks thats close to 45,000 USD per toilet....For this money you could have turned a few of those 5-10 baht beach road beer bar bathroom complexes into the Taj Mahal of public bathrooms for people at the beach to use...
  18. How hard is it to walk to Central Festival and use their toilets...? They are free and pretty nice...
  19. I certainly hope these trucks dont park in the no parking lane next to the beach...
  20. What are you guys moaning about? In the USA dentist are booked up for 3-4 weeks and often months ahead of time....And your already out 50-75 dollars just to walk in their office....Not to mention the $$$$$ costs of treatment.....
  21. Great post......Some guys here just cant seem to get that many laws and rules and codes are very flexible here depending on which way the wind is blowing and the mood of the person interpreting the rules on that day.... Unlike in the West where Tax rules are carved in stone..
  22. So has everyone been enjoying their shadeless afternoon walks along beach road..
