    no idea why a link about mae sot was posted regarding a question about Kawthaung? You clear thai immigration , pay for ur boat seat ( 200-300 baht) $10 ( make sure no rips, tears) for the Burmese stamp in and out 30 minute boat ride each way OR you can stay up to 14 days in Kawthaung ( its interesting for a day or 2, especially if u hire a boat for the day and go exploring) Enjoy>>

    has anyone done it? how long till u got ur next report due receipt back? i did mine on dec 26th, due date was Jan 8th sent to 90 DAYS REGISTRATION, IMMIGRATION DIVISION 1 Chalermprakiat Government Complex 120 MOO 3, CHAENGWATTANA ROAD,SOI 7, LAKSI, BANGKOK. 10210 Thanks

    just for thinking about IF you use the 800,000 in the bank and ur single Make 100% sure you have an iron tight will registered and in someone's hands you trust, ( or a lawyer) where the 800,000 goes when you die otherwise ur just giving it to the bank a good reason to use an agent, even if you have the $$$ :-)

    You file a new tm 30 ( easy now with the new tm 30 online site) AFTER ur extension is issued to where u actually live, IF you want to... if there wasn't some high ups involved, dont ya think they would just shut it all down? TIT

    not for me to divulge the agents means bhut suffice to say i use an agent and have never seen a money transfer into my account when the agent had my bank book

    FYI: to use them, u need be in Pattaya< Many dont, i did the math and with flying into Bangkok, bus to Pattaya, 1-2 night hotel stay.. and back It was cheaper /easier to use Thai visa centre via thai post office

    when was the last time? i have also opened multiple accounts' at multiple banks, 1st back in 85 but last one was way back in 2014> TOTTALLY irrelevant to opening one now
