got my new US passport in Nov got my new extension via an agent 2 weeks ago at an up country immigration and at the same time had him do the stamp transfers, move my tm30 from where the extension was issued to Phuket AND the 90 day report ( i had missed the previous one ) well worth the 2,000 baht extra fee 🙂 and didn't set foot in Immigration

since i got my Motorcycle thai license ( having only held a car license for 25 years here) back in Feb 2023 i have not been stopped ONCE at any check point I think it has to do with I ride a honda wave which are not rented to tourists anymore 🙂 regarding this incident: You DONT assault a thai policeman Or any police men anywhere i've lived here a LONG time and have ever heard of a tourist or local getting shot at a check point UNLESS they were really bad people> so how could they be in "fear for their lives" which is what their lawyer will claim>>

IF Bangkok sent down 20 undercover cops to Phuket and they spent 4 hours visiting motorcycle rentals, bars, shops in Karon, Kata, Patong they would easily arrest at least 100 foreign nationals! They dont want to!!! these few arrests are just for show

those prices are in Pattaya ONLY, expect higher outside but no trip to immigration needed also after the 1st 15 months, the next1 year extension drops to around 12,500 and,".... the 12 month renewable multi-entry visa" NOPE, that multiple reentry will cost ya 3,800 more 🙂
