  1. The talent pool is pretty shallow for competent people here in our beloved Thailand. When you do find one, they often get led astray by the culture of corruption that is so prevalent.
  2. If they all shut down due to a change in the regulations, billions of Baht will be lost by investors. That is no guarantee that it won't happen. Thailand is not renowned for making organised, planned, and sensible decisions. Knowing Thailand as I do after 33 years here, I did question the wisdom of an American friend of mine who has now invested over a million dollars in a cannabis farm. The simple question I asked him was, “are you prepared to walk away from that investment?” There was no answer. He simply could not comprehend they would or could do a u-turn on cannabis policy. And yet here we are, on the precipice. If I was doing a SWOT analysis on THREATS, I would have identified this government flip-flopping as the biggest threat to my investment. Too big of a risk for me. No safe money is in the hands of Thais with power making decisions.
  3. Not in the case of this 'person'. From what I know of him (I've had indirect dealings with him before), he has not reformed or rehabilitated one bit. Indeed, what he has got away with has emboldened him to the extent we see today. He is widely known as a mafioso Godfather among local Thais. As a naturalised Thai, I thought you would have known this?
  4. It's partly down to the poor knowledge and skill of the growers, but also the climate here is not conducive to growing great weed outdoors due to the high humidity and almost 12/12 light cycle year round. Thai growers won't spend money on good genetics either. You need to spend a little more to get good seeds or clones.
  5. Gonna be a racy high I reckon as I finished them a bit early with not many amber trichs.
  6. What did you expect? Lying is second nature to these people.
  7. Says the man who has a convicted heroin smuggler as Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
  8. Meanwhile, Canada has expelled a top Indian diplomat as they have proof the Indian govt. was behind the murder of a Canadian citizen, a Sikh separatist, back in June. Careful of the company you keep folks.
  9. There's a proper pathway to citizenship for those inclined and qualified. With that pathway comes certain tax requirements. What there will be in Thailand, appears to be the tax requirements of a resident yet with annual and very temporary (non-immigrant) visa renewals with no residency pathway (for most). Do you not understand the difference?
  10. So you can’t prove anything that you stated as regards the Interpol Red Notice? Glad that clarifies. Back on ignore ya go.
  11. Link to an Interpol source (not Thai) confirming this to be the case, thanks in advance.
  12. He was living in Thailand in plain sight up until 2017. The crime was committed in 2012.
  13. Naval patrols and blockade of Med. Detention then deportation for all migrants entering legally without asylum permission. Biometric database of all illegal migrants including DNA, facial recognition and fingerprints. No possibility of visa or residence in any EU country for any illegal immigrant arriving or found staying illegally. Stop handouts for illegal economic migrants. Temporarily suspend ALL asylum applications until situation is normalised. Easy to stop this if there's the will.
  14. I live here, I will pay these taxes, and you recognise me as a defacto naturalised Thai citizen with all the rights that entails. It's only fair.
  15. Helping Thai Airways pay off its debt. Only 599.70 billion Baht more to go.
