    Why did I read this as 'Thailand's longest beachside knifefight'? 😁 Pattaya has ruined me. Thais in my moo baan have been complaining about people flying their kites as they make a sort of low whistling noise. When I first heard it I thought it was someone learning scales on a musical instrument!

    I'm in and out twice a month. Swings and roundabouts. Today on arrival literally every desk was manned, and I was through within minutes. Last time they didn't let me through Fast Track and I waited 20–30 minutes. Meanwhile, Malaysia now allows foreigners to use the automated gates on arrival and departure if you fill out the digital arrival card. Take note, Thailand.

    That’s how it starts. Next thing you know, you are killing and disappearing human rights lawyers, overseeing the extrajudicial killings of thousands of innocent people, and commanding an armed militia to burn commercial businesses in central Bangkok. Where does it end?

    Didn’t you support both coups against Thaksin? You were very vocal about those on here despite the Thais not caring what you think or say! 😀 Thaksin has been convicted as being corrupt and thus a greedy liar, hence running away to Dubai, the detention in hospital etc. Despite your advanced years, you’ve never quite been able to work this place out, have you?

    They are getting the passports, which Western nations will no doubt regret in the very near future. I love how Thailand has handled immigration, and I wish my country would do exactly the same. Thais know who is Thai, who can stay here, and who is not Thai and cannot stay here. 💪💪💪
