Is it common for clinics to offer medicines not registered for use by FDA? Google street view shows them as a small shop-house type building only in CM. I asked CM Mediclinic about price and availability and they replied without price simply: >Thank you for contacting CM Mediclinic. >Shingrix vaccine will be available in October.

I ordered my glasses on 19-Aug and they arrived 1-Sep. The glasses are a perfect fit with clear vision for me across all ranges so I am happy compared to the high street products here. I chose progressives with sun shading and a plastic frame I was familiar with as I already bought reading glasses from Zenni before with the same frame. The frame costs about 10USD and the reading glasses as much again, whereas my progressives cost more at about 120USD but could be had for 20-30 USD cheaper depending on choices. After placing order, Zenni seems to make the glasses within 2 days and mails it, emails about 4 days later with the tracking code, its not couriered so a bit slow. Postal cost was 9USD. I thought in the past Zenni mailed from Hong Kong, but the package seemed to come from Sweden, despite saying made in China on package, and via Singapore. There was four days transit in Singapore. Once in Bangkok it arrives next day on your door. So about 2-3 days manufacture and 8-9 days mailing time. I will order again unless I hear of any better services.

Mystery on Phuket Beach as Strange Debris Washes Ashore
Hamus Yaigh replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Not too dissimilar to Indian Space RO rocket debris on Australian shore a couple months ago. It's amazing in this day and age countries can set of space rockets and expect others to clean up after them when parts fall off back on earth. -
I did that the year before. The queue desk#1-4 said I didn't need a queue# and to go straight to L1-32. But as soon as I got to L1-32 the IO said I must go to L1-27 for doc check first! So this year I went straight to L1-27 before anywhere else, and they were OK with that. Only issue, once again there was no queuing system for L1-27 either so you have to stand mingling around the entrance also, unless like some who used an agent who did the standing around for you . So I without agent stood outside and shuffled in when it looked like a good moment. Overall I would say the online queuing and checking system is worse experience than last year but time taken was the same.

The office in the thread subject title. One thing I noticed when going with online booking this week to CW was the usual L1-32 counter was not being used as previously for onliners and I was sent to L1-35 which is also a queue ticket counter so you never know when you will get in with a 1 hour online booking window and no queue number. So I did the usual walk/barge in when others were being served and IO took my docs as I was on-time and served me next after she had completed current customers. Overall fast service, under 30 minutes, but queuing system not that clear.

That vlog came up on my PC. From what I could make of it, the elderly mother is brought over from USA by a controlling son who seems to have unlimited funds to never work again. She has an accident in PKK rolling her three wheel electric trike and her son raises over 12k USD on GoFundMe to pay the hospital fees from the adoring channel fans. Now he is planning a European Cruise next month. You cannot make it up.

Exactly my point, so I would not be rushing to CW to do my extension this year on the off chance as in the op. Any changes to financials won't happen for years and years to come I expect and is not even something I would even worry about. Very useful report btw, I like reading them each year as you seem to go about 6 weeks before me!

Can you notice how much more informative and to the point the reponse below was?

+1 what he said plus an adblock and multiple profiles so you can troll yourselves? Harder to do that on a phone sat on a bar stool. -
Thailand Sentences 7 to Jail for Protesting Myanmar Coup

I wonder why this story is not on any other news channels searches besides https://www.irrawaddy.com ? The international community should be appalled by this type of story? -
Best route Pattaya-Kanchanaburi

You were supposed to be gone a month. I too would be interested, from others, in feedback on state of Rama2 road as planning a ride there in a month. Last time I went Rama2 was awful. -

When you say Google you don't mean Google Bard which is their AI app and seems to be even more clueless than ChatGPT with its answer to me just now! ???? But Bing powered by AI was correct with latest news.

Yes, I'd stay away from ChatGPT if I was YOU. ????

They are shipping my order to Thailand now - shipping cost is 9USD. I have used them for reading glasses for several years and shipped to Thailand. Takes about 14 days from order to front door delivery. There was a slight delay during the pandemic.

Another newbie wiring question about IBKR as I am trying to set it up. What's the best way to wire cash from IBKR USD to K-Bank THB account in Thailand? I was thinking of using IBKR to Wise then onto KBank which I have done, but I notice IBKR allows a direct link to K-Bank set up BUT only if I input a Correspondent Selection bank SWIFT code along with the K-Bank SWIFT code - which I don't know yet. Anyone know if this direct way works, should I ask bank or is it simpler/cheaper to keep using the two step Wise route where Wise takes care all the forex rates? Cheers

Yes thats why I want cheap because of damage as you describe. But I couldn't find lenses that cheap, best I found was around 90$ range, I ordered photo-chromatic for outdoors use, still far cheaper than the high street price around where I am.

Thanks that is reassuring. I'll order and hope they work out for me.

Just broken my existing progressive glasses I bought from a rather overpriced Thai chain shop, so wanted the same order online from Zenni who charge about a quarter the price. ** As I am not experienced can someone tell me if I got the prescription correctly input please? The first (Duna) image above is from Thai shop and works well for me. Below that is what I input on Zenni. The PD of 66 seems to be a carry over from some reading glasses I had from Zenni but the Duna card does not mention PD at all so I left it at 66 on Zenni. So did I get it all OK and I can go ahead with order? Thanks

Isn't that the whole point of having this website?
