There's no reason for a buyer to care and every reason for a seller to care. And there's a lot of stuff the Chinese make that fully developed nations don't. And they can produce their goods more cheaply than can fully developed nations.

How many businesses are strong enough to do that? And how many businesses would be needed to have an effect on the huge scale of trade? It's unworkable. And of course, what would stop the Chinese from doing the same thing?

And why would any business do that? In fact, how could any business afford to do that? You think that government should subsidize those low prices? How would that not result in a boondoggle of massive proportions?
