  1. How are you enjoying the youtube videos of Trump crybabies still staging temper tantrums more than 3 years after the election?
  2. You asked me for a quote and I gave it to you. No other agency that I can find, no reporters, no NGOs agree with this statement. Nor does the US government, Israel's crucial backer.
  3. Are you ever going to thank me for providing you with enlightening information? The Israel Defense Force unit overseeing the transport of humanitarian aid into Gaza said on Wednesday that there are no shortages of food in the Strip, dismissing United Nations reports of widespread starvation, and alleged that existing problems were caused by the inability of the UN to properly distribute the goods once they entered the enclave. Col. Moshe Tetro, head of COGAT’s Coordination and Liaison Administration to Gaza, said Israel was working daily to boost aid into the Strip. https://www.timesofisrael.com/no-food-shortage-in-gaza-says-idf-official-overseeing-transfer-of-aid/
  4. The US has been pushing Israel to conduct a more target campaign for a long time. Fewer children would die if that course was pursued. There's nothing inevitable about the total number of civilian deaths.
  5. "White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters Thursday that the situation in Gaza was dire after incoming aid trucks were surrounded by desperate refugees looking for food and basic supplies. “We recognize that there are real food security issues in Gaza,” Kirby said. “We understand there’s a lot of hunger and starvation in Gaza." https://nypost.com/2024/01/11/news/israel-hamas-closer-to-deal-to-deliver-medicine-to-hostages-in-gaza/
  6. I never denied it. What I denied was Hanagumas claim that the storage of weapons in schools by Hamas is a current threat to Gazan schoolchildren.
  7. COGAT made a claim about no starvation in Gaza. The US government said there was. Are both credible? COGAT is an interested party to the conflict. Why would anyone assume that its take is necessarlly credible?
  8. Schools in Gaza closed as fighting threatens safety of children and teachers https://theirworld.org/news/violence-closes-gaza-schools-closed-by-un-agency/ War’s toll on education in Gaza casts shadow over children’s future With pupils and teachers uprooted and buildings destroyed, it is likely to be many months before classes can resume https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/dec/18/wars-toll-on-education-in-gaza-casts-shadow-over-childrens-future
  9. Because governments don't lie when it's in their interest? As I pointed out, COGAT also claimed that there is no starvation in Gaza. The US government says differently. How do you reconcile that with "its from a gov source, its a credible link."
  10. Well, they did all close by Nov 11. And today's date is January 16. So how does a closure that occurred more than 2 months ago, somehow mena that schools were open today?
  11. Nor can you prove it. And you're the one who brought it up as evidence. And I notice you didn't address the issue of water. Drinking water is even more crucial to survival than food. No mention of how much of those shipments is water.
  12. Well COGAT is claiming that for food deliveries only. That said, I haven't been able to find confirmation of their claim of 70 trucks for food anywhere. What I do know is that there is no potable water on tap in Gaza. So all drinking water has to be imported. I'm assuming that's included in their figures. Given that COGAT has denied that there is any starvation in Gaza, why should anyone give them the benefit of the doubt?
  13. What don't you understand about the present tense? Do you think it encompasses all time subsequent to Oct 7?
  14. Ah, the resort to nitpicking when you've got nothing. What don't you understand about the fact that Hanaguma raised the issue of schools as a current problem? It's not a current problem. Children aren't attending school. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?
  15. Do you understand that COGAT also is the Israeli government body that administers the West Bank? Whether it works with or against the UN is a matter of some debate? I'm not sure the UN takes your rosy view of the matter UN agency heads say Gaza needs more aid to arrive faster, warning of famine and disease Gaza urgently needs more aid or its desperate population will suffer widespread famine and disease, the heads of three major U.N. agencies warned Monday, as authorities in the enclave reported that the death toll in the Israel-Hamas war had surpassed 24,000. While the U.N. agency chiefs did not directly point a finger at Israel, they said aid delivery is hobbled by the opening of too few border crossings, a slow vetting process for trucks and goods going into Gaza, and continuing fighting throughout the territory — all of which Israel plays a deciding factor in. UN Deplores Israel's 'Systematic' Refusal to Grant Access to North Gaza The United Nations humanitarian office said on Friday that Israeli authorities were systematically denying it access to northern Gaza to deliver aid and this had significantly hindered the humanitarian operation there. https://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2024-01-12/un-deplores-israels-systematic-refusal-to-grant-access-to-north-gaza
  16. The issue was the tense. As though children are still in attendance. Otherwise why mention schools in conjunction with children. If schools are being used as shelter now, I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not the occupants are children.
  17. You think children are still attending school in Gaza? Oh wait a minute. I forgot. You posted those lovely photos of the abundant fruits and vegetables abundanat in Gaza that were taken by COGAT.
  18. Part of this may go back to the grudge that black South Africans hold against Israel for its support of the apartheid government including possible assistance in building nuclear weapons. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/feb/07/southafrica.israel
  19. You missed the point. Hanaguma claimed that children in Gaza are in danger because of those weapons stored in classrooms.
  20. I quite agree that prominent Democrats should have run against Biden. Whether fairly or not, he is a weak candidate. As for those droves, what does it say about the strength of Republican candidates that they are either slightly ahead or slightly behind Biden in the polls posing matchups?
  21. Actually, in 2012 and 2004 some states cancelled primaries. Most held them.
  22. The claims you make for your predictions may be astounding or they may be baseless. That you would make such a claim is more evidence of emptiness.
  23. Your trolling was empty. Just a taunt about the future. If what I wrote was trolling, at least it was based on evidence. And if you hadn't trolled in the first place, I wouldn't have had occasion to make my comment.
  24. First you claim that children are in danger because Hamas stored weaponry in schools. Now you're backtracking on that piece of ridiculousness. And your view of laws governing warfare is so simplistic as to be ridiculous. It sounds like some nonsense out of the Old Testament. If Israel's conduct of the war results in mass deaths by starvation and disease, deaths it could avert by allow sufficient aid to enter Israel Not even the Israeli government agrees with you: Israel has no obligation to actively provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population in Gaza. Israel is only required to allow the passage of humanitarian aid, including food, water, medicine, and medical equipment.Oct 26, 2566 BE https://www.inss.org.il/publication/israel-duties/#:~:text=The Obligation to Allow the,%2C medicine%2C and medical equipment.
