  1. Why would anyone think that Trump would go after those he considers his enemies? It's not like he's ever supported suspending the Constitution...oh wait a minute... "In December 2022, Donald Trump was pushing the baseless claim that he lost the 2020 election due to widespread voter fraud, "A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution," Trump wrote on Truth Social on December 3, 2022. "Our great 'Founder' did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!" https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-call-suspend-constitution-gop-debate-chris-christie-1822131
  2. What don't you understand about the fact that Trump accepted the invitation.
  3. "...probably"? Really? More B.S. from you.
  4. And what would going to visit that frozen landscape tell me about whether or not there were few takers for the lease? Or, for that matter, why would you make being there a general criterion fornews stories? This has got to be one of the most botlike comments I have seen posted in this forum. I don't see how any sentient creature could have come up with this one.
  5. This is akin to the following comment and its kvariations often posted in this forum: "I don't like Trump but..." Translated into reality it means "I love Trump and I'll about it if I have to..."
  6. "We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated," he said during his victory speech. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/02/24/donald-trump-nevada-poorly-educated/80860078/
  7. I guess you'll never stop lying about this: "While Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, collectively donated at least $400 million to two nonprofit organizations to help various government election offices across the country, the funds were not contributions to Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and did not violate campaign finance laws. THE FACTS: Posts suggesting that Zuckerberg improperly spent a large sum of money to elect Biden have circulated widely as some social media users and conservative lawmakers continue to push the unfounded claim that fraud played a significant role in the 2020 presidential election. https://archive.ph/ILpzt
  8. Not to mention all the right wing lies he posts to his X account.
  9. More mindreading. Such a difficult thing to fake.
  10. Really? Most oil companies shun Alaska. Very expensive to drill there. Even when the Trump administration offered up ANWR land on a platter with a lease sale late into its term, few companies bothered to show. https://www.vox.com/climate/23863150/biden-arctic-drilling-big-oil
  11. Thanks for demonstrating how little you understand the oil and gas industry. It's a worldwide industry and worldwide market. The oil and gas industry in the USA aren't trying to set records for the sake of setting records. It's about profits. If they can make more money by pumping more oil they will. More likely they'll be pumping less since huge oil and gas projects outside the USA are coming online. And the Saudis have been holding back. And their production costs are far lower than most production costs elsewhere, including in the USA. But starting in December they've said they're going to be pumping more.
  12. Sure. Fox chose them because they were balanced Democrats. It is to laugh. Why not choose Democrats who are tough on Trump? Or, for that matter, Republicans who are tough on Trump? I guess their target market is people who believe that the oil and gas industry in the USA have been crashing because of Joe Biden. You know anybody like that?
  13. If anything shows how massively out of touch you are with reality, it's the comment of yours I've quoted above. Here is same genuine information about the oil and gas industry. Both oil and gas production rose to record levels. https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=61545#:~:text=Crude oil production in the, than 13.3 million b%2Fd. https://www.statista.com/statistics/265331/natural-gas-production-in-the-us/
  14. He did this when he was President. Biden did reinstate it when he became President.
  15. President Trump has decided to revoke the Federal Flood Protection Standard, making communities less safe and exposing the country to greater damage from disastrous flood events. The flood protection standard required federally-funded infrastructure, like public housing, hospitals, fire stations, and highways, to be built with a higher margin of safety against extreme floods and sea level rise. https://www.nrdc.org/bio/joel-scata/trump-revoked-flood-protections-millions-americans Democrats should put up billboards proclaiming this fact in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. In fact, anywhere that flooding has been a disaster.
  16. “Brett Baier just used a soundbite to try to clear Donald Trump of saying a thing in which he cut out the part where he says it!” said an animated Chris Hayes, before playing the full clip of Trump telling the town hall assemblage, “It is the enemy from within, and they're very dangerous. They're Marxists and communists and fascists and they’re sick.” https://www.salon.com/2024/10/17/kamala-harris-sparred-with-fox-news-bret-baier-in-a-chat-meant-to-sell-us-on--the-interviewer/
  17. The thing about truth social is it's a meme stock. Its fortunes for now follow what Trump fans believe his chances are to win the Presidency. But these considerations have nothing to do with the company itself is financially viable. Its membership is relatively small, it hasn't grown lately, engagement is down, it's burning through cash, and income is negligible. What does it offer as a real business that makes anyone believe it's going to be self-sustaining?
  18. The thing about Trump supporters like you is that you can't lose. Even if Harris is duly declared the winner, you'll just claim that the election was fixed.
  19. Not so much desperation as tit-for-tat. Just dishing out the same kind of nonsense that Trump supporters routinely do. I notice you didn't bother to comment when Geraldo Rivera was cited as some kind of authority on the outcome of the debate. Maybe because he said what aligned with your biases?
  20. Kamala Harris 'Dominated' Bret Baier in Fox News Interview—GOP Speechwriter Behavior analyst and body language expert Dr. Jack Brown wrote on X that Baier was expressing an intent to shut Harris down when she pushed back on this. "Bret Baier's repeatedly extending his arm in a palm-toward-and-down dynamic is a nonverbal effort to tell VP Harris to 'shut-up', 'you've said enough about this topic', and 'I have the floor now'," Brown wrote. "This body language display is commonly exhibited by misogynists and manipulative individuals who are not interested in dialog, discourse, or others' opinions." https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-harris-dominated-bret-baier-fox-news-interview-gop-speechwriter-1970432
  21. What doesn't take much figuring out is that you're taking credit for wisdom without providing any evidence to support that claim.
  22. Sure. The war would never have started because Trump would....do what exactly? Given that he wants to absolutely retreat from foreign engagements, what would he have done to discourage Putin? Return his friendship ring?
  23. The complete moron who made a fool of Trump during their one debate.
  24. But, of course, it doesn't deal with 2023 at all. Or, for that matter, 2024.
