Oke good point, but after leaving the Hospital we went to the Local Health Office (see in your MorProm app for the location) and their it was the SAME answer! Coincidence ?
The Local Health office is 100% correct. They cannot change something they were not responsible for initating. The authority to change lies with the administering hospital. You just have to be persistent!

Good advice, but .....
I went and they said they can't change the info as it's locked. We also went to the local Health Office and there it was the same answer!
The QR code on my vaccination paper gives an error and they shrugged and just put a BIG RED Hospital stamp on it that it is genuine!
I think they are being difficult. I was shown as Ameirican and my surname was missing from the QR Code and my Passport number was missing fromthe Certificate. Went to the hospital and was told that it couldn't be changed. I requested to see the Chief Hospital officer and after some discussion amongst themselves and they could see I was not going away, the agreed to make the necessary amendments. It helps if you speakThai to them, ifyou can'tthen take someonewho can. Itcan be changed, don't take 'No" for an answer. I checked everything about an hour after leaving the hospital and Mor Phrom had been updated.

Took me 4 minutes to find the following on Qatar site
What are the country entry and exit requirements?
Test Certificate Requirements
England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales
-
Unvaccinated travellers must have a pre-departure COVID-19 PCR or LAMP or an antigen test (such as a test from a lateral flow device) issued within 72 hours before departure.
-
Fully vaccinated travellers are not required to have a pre-departure test.

Did you load the MorPhrom App? What does it say there???
We have gone to 2 places and they both say I have to go somewhere else, and when we go there, they say sorry can't change the data so I have not found a way to change the info.
My Passport Number is also not listed, when I scan my certificate I get an Error that the Info is NOT correct, and If I want to apply for an International Certificate it lists my Nationality as Thai!
The only correct things in it are A) My Name B) My Pink ID Card Number!
The Mor Phrom App is the same as my certificate with the exceeption of the Passport Number.
First time round the QR Code stated I was an Amercian. So I went back to the hospital and MADE them change it, much to their not wanting to. I gave them the Thai for British coz they said'not know Thai for British. Hahaha! Now it shows 'English, Scotland, Wales. For one moment I thought I would ask 'where is N reland' but I thought better of it!

I apologise if these questions have been asked before.
Vaccination Certificate shows both Pink ID Card number and number of Passport.. However, QR Code, only shows Pink ID Card Number. Do I need to put Pink ID Card on upload of Passport?
Insurance. Does the policy have to be uploaded or just the certificate of Insurance with relevant details?
Thank you

You do need to register for a specific day in the application (and have to list dates) - following info / details are are required:
1) Personal details (Name, DOB, Passport number etc)
2) Passport Copy (JPG)
3) Note: Arrival Date
4) Submit Vaccination certificates (and QR Code)
5) List Quarantine Date (Arrival / Departure)
6) Submit 1 night quarantine booking
7) Note: Flight Number (written only i.e. AY141)
8 ) Submit Insurance document
(you do not need to submit a Flight Booking conformation / Ticket)
One more question. D oyou have to submit Non O Visa, RetirementStampand Re-entry Stamp Ifso is there section for that ordo you attach it to your passport page?

I state that in the full knowledge that having just checked the QR Code on my Vaccination Certificate and in spite of providing a copy of my Passport Page which states i am British, they have managed to make me an American. My friend who is an American is know a Thai National!!!

No offence intended my comment was merely reflecting past experience with the British Civil Service and the Establishment over the years.
Good to know you will get back to TonyM

Advice please on best browserfor the Thailand Pass please.I currently use Google.
Thank you

I'm unsure about the information required when completing the application.
1. How do I upload the actual QR Code on my vaccination certificate? It is on the certificate, but the requirement is to upload the actual code in addition.
2. It asks 'what is the length of stay' I am returning to my home in Thailand. What should I put?
3. In the hotel section it asks for flight number. Is that the UK to Thailand flight or my onward flight to my home province?
Many thanks

Please tell us the name of the insurance company that provides the policy.
Thanks
WRLife. Speak to aainsure in Pattaya. I have no connection to either.
Policy suits my objective to return to Thailand. Maybe not to everyone's requirements.

I think that covid insurance is fine ,it's quite affordable, but if your over 75 the health insurance, separate from covid, becomes a financial nighmare for 0ver 75 .
I have spoken to some of the advisors that are linked to advertising on this site and they say USD 20,000 per year for people who are up there in the over 75, I find this abysmal, and it seems to be a money grab from Thai Insurance companies.
If your covered for covid that should be the main concern and that insurance is offered cheap to people up to 95 yrs of age, buttttt, the health insurance needed on top, seems like nothing but a scam, and a way off ripping off the elderly and forcing them out of Thailand, even though they have spent many years in the country and have children to Thai partners and contribute more than any tourist would to the economy.
It is shameful , NZ does not treat Thai elderly people like this, we grant them citizenship and a pension if they qualify, and we educate their grandchildren free.
Andbut hey, when Iam we give them free hospital care and ACC insurance -- free.
US$20,000 a year for over 75's? I'm 83 and I have cover for US$ 80,000 a year for a fraction of that. Admittedly it only covers me in Thailand, but hey, when I'm in UK I've got the use of the best health service in the world and it's free!

A valiant effort doomed to fail, as no one in the Embassy is listening. Wait for the silence!

I'm sure that you have looked into it carefully.
I was under impression that covid insurance was readily available for older folk..

Give aainsure in Pattaya a call. I am 83 and they quoted me a policy with WRLife only covers you in Thailand, called a limited Plan. Coverage US$80,000. Premium would be somewhere between 6 - 8000 THB monthly.

Upload your extension of stay and re-entry permit to stamps.
A certificate should enough to prove your insurance as long as covers the correct amount and for your length of stay.
Thaank you UJ. As always sound advice

Amongst all of the comments posted here on the subject of completing the application for the Thailand Pass, I read somewhere that the system was not allowing more than a single page to be uploaded. If this is fact and they require you to upload the policy document which could be more than one page, how is it possible to upload the policy. Or will a certificate of insurance (single page) be sufficient.
Secondly the application states Visa if any. Is that the original Non O or the re-entry stamp or maybe both.
Grateful for advice of anyone whohas appplied.

It started April of last year due to covid 19.
Caveat: Depending on which Embassy you were dealing with. London have previously to the re-opening of Thailand have never required it for those who already have a Non O.

That is the insurance that is required for entry to the country for everybody. It does not matter what visa you have.
Before it is was $100,000 for only covid 19 insurance.
Agreed UJ, however it is a recent change as far as I am concerned because previously it was not required by RTE London for people with re-entry stamp. I am living proof of this because I went to UK in 2019 and only required the re-entry.

As I have written already dozens of times no insurance is required for any non-o extension for marriage or retirement.
The new insurance is only for new Non-OA visa applications.
And for existing ones and extensions of the permit to stay it will remain at 40/400k baht unit September 1st of next year.
Info is here about the insurance. https://longstay.tgia.org/home/guidelineoa
I agree 100% with the above input from UJ with the caveat that he is directing his comment at expats inside ofThailand who have not travelled abroad. However, if the statement fromthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Friday 29 October 2021 is to be believed, UJ input is not valid for those on a Non O (marriage) who are wishing to return to Thailand following a visit to another country. They said 'insurance (minimum coverage 50,000 USD)
- Expats living and working in Thailand under a valid visa or residential permit are required to provide proof of insurance coverage in Thailand or valid social security card or certifying letter from their employer.
- Thai nationals are not required to provide proof of insurance coverage
There does not appear t obe any exceptions other to what is stated.
My undertanding therefore is that if I decide to visit my famiy in the UK , having a Non O visa and a re-entry stamp, I will still require to have General Medical coverage, including Covid, of no less than 50,000US$.
Maybe the status of 'living and working in Thailand requires clariification. Is it three separate entities, one being 'living i.e 'retired' or is it 'working' or as printed 'living and working' I fear it is the latter because they may already havemedicalcoverage from the employer.
I would be delighted if someone tellsme I am confused and wrong.
