How this is going to end (most probable scenario): Trump may be convicted in some cases before the election, but will file appeals so he won't be in jail in November 2024. Trump will lose the election (barring economic collapse, Biden health problems, or alien invasion). Then Trump will work through his legal problems, with diminishing interest among his cult members.

Let's recap the bidding: Trump tried to illegally overturn the 2020 election, including inciting a riot at the US Capitol, where people died. Trump encouraged fake electors to send counterfeit Elector forms to the US government, claiming they were the real electors. Trump tried to pressure the Georgia SoS to "find" enough votes for Trump to win. Trump took 100s of classified documents to his hotel and tried to hide them from the FBI, despite a subpoena. Shall I continue?
