That's because you pretend 'murdered' does not imply intent, or allege such intent without a shred of support. Not too compliacted, @Neeranam

I get your point of view, that's why I said these things might be more worrisome, or worth taking 'action' (but what, exactly?) about - if you are 'rich' (at least by local standards). I think most expats, or those posting here do not hold the fancier visas, or are even candidates for such. So for those here on some regular state pension, those living on lower incomes/savings brackets, things may be different.

That quote was from Abba Eban, one of Israel's top diplomats and minister of foreign affairs. He was kinda handy with these.

I'll take it a step further. If they indeed try this mass historical auditing - there WILL be a mass migration of foreigners, and less replacements. Never mind that I don't think they are up to it anyway. So even if they got for that, I think they'll have to backtrack - hopefully before too much damage done. My guess is that like many other clumsily introduced policies, there will be a short chaotic period before they either clarify, reconsider or amend this. Unfortunately, my next extension date falls on December-January. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't even bother reading these topics.

Oh, you think I should adjust my posts to the level of ignorance displayed in yours? What I posted is nothing new, and can be looked up if someone chose to do so. Been discussed numerous times in the past on such topics.

How does it not apply? Did I post something in Arabic?
-
I'm not expecting you to actually be very familiar with the content, context, background or facts related to the links you provide. Or to who penned them, even. May want to look up what Hamas actually said, In Arabic, and which terminology was used. None of these 'truce' instances was about peace, recognition of Israel or letting go of the violent struggle approach. There are various words used in Arabic which could be applied to 'ceasefire', 'truce' etc. - Hamas's choice of words was always with ominous religious connotations. It's a choice to accept a hyper-biased academic's view and 'interpretation' as objective, or gospel

Murdered how? Do you consider all people, all children killed in wars to be 'murdered'?
-
They do not. They clearly specify where the figures came from. Could highlight it more, I suppose.

She would, obviously. Same way you deny being an antisemite, despite ample proof.

What 'agent'? Do any of these 'agents' know more about this? I seriously doubt they will attempt to audit all foreigners here 20 years back or anything. Getting an 'agent' might be easier to do in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin - other places? Lucky to find someone with good English. Not seeing the point of paying an 'agent' now, for services unspecified. For those of us not stinking rich, and countries having tax agreements, the yearly tax on the income might not be such a big deal, or not worth the hassle of getting an 'agent' etc. if it's not too much money, and no easy way to avoid it, guess I'll just grumble and pay up. If it's a large sum, a paperwork nightmare, or some sky-is-falling situation, reconsider.

I've no idea if it's that's true (all this nutrition stuff is boring) - but I want it to be. Homer Simpson is my God, and you hereby anointed as His prophet.

My experience is that doctors in a government hospital would be more likely to provide details about procedures and treatments not provided by the hospital, but may be available at private hospitals (more likely, such that they are aware of). Doctors in private hospitals, maybe less so.

Queers for Palestine is apparently a thing
Morch replied to Jingthing's topic in Gay People in Thailand
Palestinians are willing to risk their lives opposing Israel. Less so when it comes to resisting Hamas. Or even when it comes to demanding elections from both their leaderships. For a people supposedly invested in the concept of freedom, that's rather odd.
