  4. The last MOI interview was conducted in the month of March 2023, none since then. I was told by a senior official in MOI that there will be no MOI interviews for Thai citizenship till a new government is formed.

  6. No. Thai PR holders have to obtain re entry permit + an endorsement in their alien book. This can be accomplished only at an Immigration Office before departing, not at airports or land borders.

  8. @onthemoon I thought so. The software sees the 13-digit number and mistakenly "thinks" that I am Thai. The software people may have never heard of foreigners having 13-digit ID numbers. - Correct But now my other question comes up again: How do you transfer money home once you have your Thai citizenship? In my case ,my Thai wife transfers to my account abroad- never a problem If you are unmarried or have a non Thai wife- Not sure but did you try Western Union ?
  9. Its correct. Thais cannot transfer to their own account abroad. This is the rule set by B.O.T , not an error.
  10. One time I had to apply for a Japanese Business Visa on my non Thai PP. I truthfully declared my Thai citizenship. That time the vfs did not say anything, next day got a call from the Embassy that they require my Thai citizenship certificate. I had to visit the Embassy again and present my original Thai citz certificate, they wouldn't even look at ratcha kitcha. What would you or your wife do in such a situation? or what will any female do in this situation?

  12. Nope. Foreigners with Thai Permanent Residence Book, also get registered in the Blue Tabien Baan.
  13. 1. A valid work permit + THB 50,000/- monthly salary from a Thai Co (unsecured card) 2. Open a Gold Banking account with Kasikorn/ SCB minimum balance 2 Mill THB (unsecured card) 3. Make an FD of 40,000 thb and above and get it (secured credit card) All banks offer credit card to non Thais except Government Savings Bank. Hope this helps

So in this case - the buyer needs : - Passport copy of the seller - copy of visa - blue book registration of the car (original) Buyers passport copy with visa and Original Residence certificate from Immigration Office or your respective embassy in Bangkok Valid Thai Drivers Licence ( Original + 1 copy)
