No I think you only need your passport and drivers license to make an appointment. After living in Thailand for the past 22 years I know how some officials have their own take on whats required. So I just copied everything as above and let them take want they want. On the small chit you'll be given it will state any extra copied documents that are required.

Sorry I forgot, you will also need a Residency Certificate.

I went there last Monday so here's what I can tell you. Firstly when you're in front of the main building keep to the left and you'll see about 30 chairs, sit down there. A lady will come around giving everyone a queue number. When your number is called you go to the outside left desk and she will check your documents. Passport, Drivers License and Doctors Certificate also you also need to do the test online and have copies of all of them. Including that you passed the online test. After she's checked your documents she will give you a day to go back. You can choose either am ( 100 people ) or pm ( 30 people. ) She told me 9 am but if your not at least one hour early you wont get a parking spot.

I walk around the Wongamat area at 6am every morning, my walks usually last 2 hours. I strictly walk on the right side so I can see the coming traffic. I prefer that than having those cretins coming up behind me.

I've finally got my documents in order to renew my drivers license. I just have one problem, I watched the video on my laptop and I got the all clear and was sent a QR code which I haven't got a clue how to use. But Who actually gets paid for holidays in Thailand?

I've been using Cambodian Intertravel visa service in Soi Buakhaow for many years. I get mine on back Friday which is 3 days also. My main concern is would the laminated copy of my passport and visa be accepted if I try to make an appointment tomorrow.

I'm in the process of getting a residency certificate from the agent I use for my annual one year visa. He advised me that I can pick it up after 10 am on Friday. As my birthday is the May 19 I wish to make an appointment as soon as possible. My problem is that my agent has my passport, so if I go to to the LTD office tomorrow will they accept a laminated copy of my passport and visa. Thanks.

My wife has her own small food shop and she told me she'd rather work alone than have Thais working for her. If they work 15 minutes at a normal rate they need 30 minutes to recover and of course talking. She even sacked her sister and a cousin. That's why Thais take the risk and employ people from Myamar and Cambodia who work their asses of.

I've been told by the poo house prophets that we should count to 7 at a normal rate to pass the perception test. When being colour tested should we say orange or yellow? Some officials are the same as my wife when she's in a bad mood, she can pick the $**t out of anything.

Firstly thanks for your reply. Seriously why does the DLT office go through all this crap. I've had a Thai drivers license for 22 years and everything use to get done by going to the office one time. It was suggested that the office was getting over crowded, which should've been easily fixed by entry is for license holders only.

I'm a qualified plumber and I've never heard of these charges before. Then there's the 300 baht fee to park cars undercover. I've owned my condo for 8 years and I've never had these fees before. Maybe it's the new office manager who puts up signs everywhere and struts around as though she owns the entire place.

So why should I pay for the meter if it isn't mine?

If you're able to bet online without a VPN good for you but my point is who's watching you at this end as gambling is illegal in Thailand. All countries have paid officials surveying the internet content in their countries. I consider my VPN as import as my antivirus program as not only does it hide my identity when gambling but also protects my banking details etc,

It amazes me that you can bet online to the UK without using a VPN. Actually it's illegal as an online betting agency isn't allowed to accept bets from a country outside of where the bets are placed. One other thing you should consider is the fact that a VPN protects you especially as you live in a country such as Thailand where betting is a complete no no. Its very wise to conceal your identity.

May I add if you try the free version of Hola VPN it does have a time limit but you can reset that. Even the limited time is enough to get your bets on.

Firstly I'm an Australian living in Pattaya. I have shares in racehorses and greyhounds and I use Cyber Ghost VPN so I can not only bet but watch the races. In saying that Cyber Ghost will not allow me to play the Aussie lottery. If I need to do that I use the free version of Hola. In your case I set Cyber Ghost VPN up for the UK and the William Hill site opened requesting me to log in or join.

If I pay the meter maintenance then I would assume the meter is my property. So if I ever move I presume I can take the meter with me.

I'm a farang with a Thai wife, we have a Pattaya condo in her name and we still get charged this tax.

It's much safer to bite the bullet and immediately move on.

Thailand the HUB of gullibilty, when I got married 22 years ago I used cop this garbage about ghosts etc. Thankfully things are normal now as over the years I proved to her indoors that it's all total crap.
