I reckon wait to buy until the facelift vehicle hits the market, Ford may see the error in their way and offer the Wildtrak with diesel V6.

Shows the inconsistency between branches. I tried to update passport deets at two different branches in Pattaya, both refused and said I had to go to the branch the account was opened. Had to get a new debit card from K Bank, old passport on record.... refused to give me a card citing I had to update details at branch account opened..... which is in BKK. I opened another account and transferred to money across... Took less than 15 mins.... compared to a 3 to 4 hour round trip to BKK !!

I bank with Kasikorn and BKK. My post reflects my experience with them.

If your passport number matches the number that is on file you can obtain a new card at any branch. If you have a new passport but have not update the number on file you will need to go to the branch where the account was opened.

people employed in Thailand have access to social security.. which give them free/cheap access to a government hospital. What exactly are you struggling to understand ?

Ive seen older gents barely able to stand even with their walking sticks fail the color and reaction tests at Banglamung...... and still get issued with a renewed licence.

Employed people have social security. I have social security, I get free health care, at the hospital I nominate as my "local" hospital. Social security does not cover me to attend any government hospital and definitely not any clinic private or public. Which part of my post is wrong ? Time for you to climb down off your high horse and educate yourself on Thailand social security.

Social security covers the bill at the persons nominated hospital. Social security does not cover the bill at a clinic.

Why would you make them different on BKK to the rest of the country ?. Ignorant domestic tourists that are visiting Pattaya from Bangkok won't know what they are.... not that stop anyways.
