    I went to the Cinema only once ever with my now Thai wife. It was the 1st Avatar, just out. 5 minutes into the Movie and she fell asleep and didn't wake til the end.

    I got married in Thailand and didn't need references. I think at the embassy (Irish) I just had to sign a declaration that I was single. After that getting everything translated was done by a translation service company that my wife found.

    I would suggest that any Tourist/Ex-Pat out there ensure they have helmets, insurance, Tax, do not speed. I expect the police on the street to arrest as many tourists as possible (who breach any law) charge them and fill up the jails. I would suggest people walk or get a taxi until it is determined how this will pan out.

    I believe that any road checks in the early hours of the morning should be restricted to the driver of the car, speeding, drunk/drug driving, valid licence/Insurance. etc. Tourists in a Taxi should be left alone unless there were extreme curcumstances. Checking for valid Visas should be carried out by IO during opening hours in Restaurant/Bars if need be, but it would be better to stop annoying tourists during their holidays.

    I take cash out during the day if I need it and leave cards in safe. Kept my Covid Cert on phone when I needed it. No supermarket cards and never will have them. I only carry cash in my wallet. I have never lost a wallet and if I did I wouldn't expect to get the cash back.

    I come from a country where ID carrying is not required, so I never carry Id and I will not take my passport out at night.
