    The republicans lost this battle big time. They got trashed last time they tried it and didn't have the wherewithal to try again. No debt ceiling until after the election? They may as well have just abolished the debt ceiling altogether for all the difference it makes now. There's no positive spin you can put on this. Your weak tea shows that you realize this as well.

    This. It's well understood that the more candidates there are the better chance Trump has of claiming the nomination. As above, Pence can't possibly imagine that America will suddenly turn white and religious. This is about helping Trump.

    It's all about timing. The last time America was great was in in 1945. The right wing want to go back to that time, hence the "again" in MAGA.

    The right wing claim to be the defenders of free speech and corporations are people too is quite troubling. It's all good until it isn't. Now they want to restrict companies ability to engage in free speech and want to ban books. They can't keep their ducks in a row.

    Personally, I like to use a more expensive brand only on the premise that you get what you pay for but I have no reason to think that RAM won't be ok. Again, it's got warranty so the downside is you might want to kick yourself in the butt in a year or two but this is the cheapest item in your list so don't stress. Go for it. Did you buy a new power supply? I really would.

    Yeah, nah. Trump turned this into the usual hate fest. He's the guy you support. You can't defend him by claiming that people shouldn't attack him because only he is allowed to politicize memorial day.

    Who made it political? Trump or Biden? Shall we ignore comments made by Biden's main rival on this day that we all wish was sacred. It's just really regrettable that Trump has to make everything political.

    It never has been a theory, it's always been a belief and the arguments we see here is that status allows it to dodge science and claim protection from criticism. I think it was GW Bush who said that people deserve not to have their "fixed beliefs" challenged?

    Tell that to Neeranam who incited the riot with the usual sleepy Biden comment. It then became open season on those who would criticise Biden, Trump in particular.

    So clearly it doesn't take any talent to beat Trump. Don't forget that he's still not Trump and won't be Trump next year in November.
