  1. In my opinion many of there resorts and hotels are in dire need of refurbishment and upkeep. I did enjoy the Centara that opened in Korat. Nothing like a Marriott, Hyatt, or Hilton.
  2. Who even bothers with PC's? Are you visiting from the year 2005? Just order your "wireless" keyboard and then go play with your Atari console. I'm almost convinced this is a troll post.
  3. Wireless keyboards are a big thing to him.
  4. You'll need to have someone just put in galvanized screws. You'll 99.9% not get any recourse on the typical shoddy Thai workmanship. Luckily it's not the roof to your house.
  5. They have been known to even attack there handlers. Much more dangerous if your a stranger.
  6. Don't bother buying from a private seller. You may end up getting a fake or having no warranty. Check the Samsung website for promotions. 13,990 baht. You can choose what store to pick up or have it delivered. https://www.samsung.com/th/smartphones/galaxy-a/galaxy-a54-5g-awesome-violet-128gb-sm-a546elvcthl/?cid=th_pd_ppc_google-ads_a54_sustain_cl-mx-ch-search-md-h-pn-a54-cpn-a-midhigh-tg-kw-model_search-text-ads_none_none_lo&utm_source=google-ads&utm_medium=search&utm_campaign=cl-mx-ch-search-md-h-pn-a54-cpn-a-midhigh-tg-kw-model&utm_term=Hot-cl-mx-ch-search-md-h-pn-a54-cpn-a-midhigh-tg-kw-model&utm_content=none&gclid=CjwKCAjwzJmlBhBBEiwAEJyLu9o5gybsU5PTfhh9HLhgpNnOspyYQPyLjxAEzA_doJngGsgWHqdfkRoCnnMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  7. Seamless! Almost every branded phone has there specific application to transfer files between phones.
  8. Thanks! Funny. I asked my wife, "didn't we drive through mahasrakham once?". "Yes, on the way to Khon Kaen". Nice little province.
  9. Who takes FOX news as a reliable and impartial news source? Just garbage .
  10. Probably. Previous protests have never dampened the greed and contempt this Junta has. The Junta has the 250 senators on its side, each hand picked senator makes upwards of 120,000 baht a month not including bribes and dail allowance (10,000 baht). Nobody is going to forfiet that for democrac Money is on the old gaurd. Pita getting kicked out because of his " media" shares. Protests for a few weeks with daily arrests until things peter out.
  11. Whatever you choose you'll be impressed with the different features. They've definitely put time and money into it. Easy and intuitive. Anything you plug into turns into a smart device. I can have my hot water for coffee allready turned on an hour before I wake up or fan turn on from my lazyboy. You sound like gadget guy like myself. You'll enjoy it. Check out there other products if you get a chance. Cool stuff!
  12. Get the International version so any plug will work! Tuya uses the Smart Life app. It's universal with a lot of WiFi/Bluetooth products. The socket also works as a timer, on & off switch, etc., Great product! I just got the Tuya automatic curtains opener. Now I never have get out of bed. Good luck!
  13. The Pool pump isn't hard wired so I just plugged it in. I don't know how to do it with an Aircon. That's hard wired to the breaker box.
  14. And it's stylish and very comfortable.
  15. You've got a small crack/leak somewhere. That was happening for a few months until I finally saw a tiny pinhole leak near the bottom of the tank. Pump was virtually brand new. 14 years of service is very good. Perhaps get a new one before other parts fail. Where did you get a replacement tank? Be nice to know for future reference. Good luck!
  16. Imagine how much the judges get working in the "Constitutional court".
  17. Maybe that's lost in translation. "The price for the trip will be around 12,000.00 THB which includes a room at a hotel/resort including breakfast. " I checked the two Facebook pages. Not much information. Be good to know what resorts, some may have partners/spouses following. Anyways seems a low key event. The headlines in AsiaNow made it appear as a world tour.
  18. Variable speed pump cost me about (Emaux) 45,000 baht from Ali Baba. It cut pump electricity by half, running 390-400 watts an hour. Swimming Pools Thailand has them. Good warranty, Bangkok repair if needed. https://swimmingpoolsthailand.com/en/191-variable-speed-pumps I also added a Tuya Smart Plug from Lazada To check the electricity usage. Next house, gated with a community pool. Pools are just expensive and a chore in my opinion. Great now with young kids though.
  19. Holy Makeral! I'd just buy new bike instead. No wonder there is not many entrants or interest along the route.
  20. Bangkok Bank app was down this evening.
  21. Obviously you haven't lived in Thailand for long. Let's see how your idea plays out. Hopefully my superior knowledge and Thai political history is wrong this time. Democracy in Thailand IMHO is still a few years off.
  22. Show me the numbers. It isn't possible to elect either of the two top voters without the Senate. You don't want to include a coalition with the Junta clan, that was the point and excitement about this rigged election. You'll understand in a few days. It's possible they'll anull the entire Future Forward Party. They did it in 2019 with the top vote getter, Future Forward Party. "Thai parties cry foul after election results favour military junta" "Pro-democracy politicians question official figures released after 45-day delay" https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/may/08/thai-parties-cry-foul-after-election-results-favour-military-junta
  23. Overrule the senators? Unfortunately not. "Most importantly, senators have the power to select the PM with members of the Lower House from the list of candidates proposed by elected parties." https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/politics/40027738 "GOV’T UNVEILS 250 SENATORS FULL OF GENERALS, JUNTA FAVORITES" https://www.khaosodenglish.com/politics/2019/05/14/junta-unveils-250-unelected-senators/ As things get closer to July 5th you'll see that these elections are just a sham.
