Using the British Embassy in Bangkok as an example, the only holidays it observes, in addition to Thai holidays, is Christmas and Easter. If you go to the website of the embassy that interests you, all their observed holidays will be shown.

Because you both have to be there. Unless you use an agent, possibly

Overstay or extension?
Liverpool Lou replied to jimmybcool's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What has "miscalculating the days/ date" got to do with it when the "admitted until" date is clearly stamped in the passport? No one has to work out what day they have to leave. -
Sick, sad comment. Seek help asap. No, it is just my opinion, in reaction to that posters comment. That you find it "sick" and "sad" is your issue...seek help asap if you think that everyone should have the same opinions as you do. With the exception of working dogs, pet dogs are a ridiculous waste of space, that is my opinion.

Just being a freelancer is not illegal, it is the soliciting that is, if they are caught doing that. -

Its why I use Telegram and not WhatsApp or LIne. Telegram allows you to delete both ends never to be seen again. Agreed. -
Thai cops probe groping incident by foreign men in Bangkok
Liverpool Lou replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Hard to argue with your view on the topic Lou I'm surprised no one has! Unfortunately that's what happens on a forum that does not give members the facility to delete their own comments. -
I have sympathy for the young lady in hospital... no-one else. I also have sympathy for her, I did not post otherwise.

Absolutely agree, as should all other dogs, and compensation should be paid if the old woman (who was not the real owner of the dog, or the person who introduced it to that community, but had it unintentionally thrust upon her on her son's death) has the means so to do. She did have the dog chained up, in her own home. The victim did not lose her arm.
-
I did post my, very uncomplimentary, opinion of the dog, with which I have no sympathy, and my referencing other posters comments about the "owner", and responding to them, does not mean that I have no sympathy for the victim. This is not about my priorities, it is about other posters' comments.

I agree, as should happen with all dogs.

Immigration releases statement on crackdowns on foreign offenders

100% nonsense. Playing bridge is allowed, gambling is not. Driving friends to the airport is allowed, operating the service as a business is not. Doing your own gardening is permitted. Cleaning your own house is allowed. -

Exactly the same as your country requires for foreigners working there! -
"Perhaps the daft owners on here could provide that info...". Agreed, although cover for arm re-attachment would probably be more useful!

3,000 baht in fines. Up to, not mandated at that level. There is room for the officer's discretion.
