  1. No, "getting into hot water" indicates something more serious and consequential than a bit of online critique.
  2. All she had to know was where to get the uniform that she, undoubtedly, did not make herself, thus requiring no historical knowledge.
  3. No one "got into hot water" for that, something that does not break any laws, all they got was criticism from those who did not respect their right to wear/display anything they were free to do.
  4. No, it is not, none of them indicate "Fits ------ razors" and none of them are packed so that the intricacies of the blades fittings can be seen - even taking the original razor would not help without being able to unpack the blades to check. Perhaps, then, you could specify which blades fit which (other) razors if it is so easy to determine?
  5. Which ones, or do you expect him to buy a pack of every available brand and variation on the off chance that your "thinking" is correct and that one blade fits?
  6. "A pphrase is a grammatical unit". What is a "pphrase"? "Habeas corpus" is a phrase in the context of my comment, it is also a legal process.
  7. "Only Britain sent police officers..." No, it's not only UK officers.
  8. Only if you choose to keep that sort of company by socialising in those circles.
  9. Well, how many Indian call centres are there in Pattaya? I'd suggest that there are none; just because some of them have occasionally been found to use Thai bank nominee accounts doesn't mean that they are calling from Pattaya.
  10. Really? Where did you get the statistics for that...somewhere dark and musty, no doubt.
  11. No, actually it's habeas corpus without the inverted commas. Not when the inverted commas are indicating a phrase to which I referred.
  12. It's not an allegation it's a report on Stephen Miller's efforts to ease the process for deportation ... Neither has it, so far, been enacted. It's alleged to be happening...a consideration.
  13. Use your brains for once Lou. There would be no place to comment on if admin didn’t set it up in the first place. Gee some people are stupid. Use your brains...there would be nowhere to comment if there were no members/readers/posters because there would be no ads...no revenue...no forum. Gee, some people are even more stupid
  14. No, it's "habeas corpus", uncapitalised
  15. You're assuming that those "84m" would not have voted in Trump's favour?
  16. It's an alleged "consideration" not an enactment.
  17. I take it you're up for being the first of the hoi polloi in that chatroom?
  18. I thought that it were the members and their comments that made a forum possible?
  19. Why the Italics and bold then??? Emphasis, not contention, It appeared to me that you hadn't asked the most obvious source.
  20. Contentious as ever. Of course I have but I'm just looking to see if anyone has any thoughts before I do that - knowledge is power - because in my experience sales people often tell you what you want to hear and leave out the negative bits. And I thought that's what forums were for exchanging information. Maybe you have a different idea about what forums are for. I agree, exchanging information is one of the things that forums facilitate, that is why I suggested that you contact the supplying company that would be able to answer your question, i.e. my suggestion was an exchange of information that was in no way contentious.
  21. Have you considered asking the staff of the company that you're considering using?
