  1. Who mentioned state pension, oh I think it was you. He may have inherited a trust fund early in his life. No one has any facts even you from your Suk bar stool. Yes, I mentioned it, that's what I was commenting on. The link that stated that he was supported by his family made no mention of inherited funds or trust funds. There are facts available if you bother to read the links rather than trying not to fall off your Suk bar stool.
  2. did I say a state pension NO Duh! You think that private pensions can be accessed at any age?
  3. Yes, state pension is what I was commenting on, I was not assuming anything. "You can get a pension from the UK any age". That is not correct.
  4. I am ASKING a QUESTION DUH!!! This is what you posted... "The right to respect for family life is protected by human rights, and includes the right to not be separated from family members. This right applies to a variety of family relationships, including parents and children, siblings, and unmarried partners". That was a statement, not a question. DUH!
  5. So he is 60 i was 50 when my pension started Your state pension, which is what was being discussed, was not paid to you at 50.
  6. I assume very unlikely in this case but UK overseas workers can make voluntary contributions to obtain a UK state pension. ...that would not be payable until pension age.
  7. How you know that he gets no pension? Do you know him? Are you his partner?? I didn't know that. He's 60...that's how I know.
  8. What? He entered at some date and never did his 90 day reports so you can easily identity this in the database. What? VE entries do not have a 90-day report requirement!
  9. Or he could be going back to his UK family that has been supporting him here.
  10. Really? Where is all that laid out...specifically?
  11. His UK family may continue to support them. As a Non-Thai resident the humanity aspect is something that he should have considered years ago, it is not the Thai authorities responsibility...imagine the chaos if that were the case - have a child and get to stay visa-free.
  12. How does a state pension work at age 60?
  13. Fake ham No, that would be "Spam", not "a Spam". Spam, the canned meat, is real ham and pork.
  14. No, he's only 60 but, as a previous post linked, he was getting support from the UK.
  15. Although it does now seem that his family in the UK was supporting him.
  16. Really? Which are the "many" UK banks that have "closed down" recently?
  17. Only if there are grounds for suspecting that benefit fraud had been committed.
  18. State benefits cannot be paid to non-UK residents. State pension is not a benefit,
  19. There's no penalty for losing a passport, neither does having an expired passport mean that a renewal would be denied.
  20. No such thing as a pension upgrade to a pension he's not receiving.
  21. He hasn't saved on IDC detention, court fines and airline ticket costs for deportation.
