  1. You would think that you'd have read the article which did say that MEA staff were probably involved, probably nothing to report.
  2. Their electricity was free, that's the point of the report, they were stealing the electricty.
  3. The OP didn't report that they were arrested/machines seized for mining.
  4. Let's revisit your post in a year. I have a strong feeling it will not age well. By all means, I'm posting about reality, things that are happening right now, I'm not speculating about what could happen in your fantasy of next year.
  5. You mean if they have passports or are willing to disclose there country of origin. Many can't be deported for that reason. Many more are!
  6. Did it state that Sweden uses THB? No, it didn't. You know Sweden is a Nordic country, yes? If it has a police liaison section, of course it can work with Thai police and it does work that way. Article/Section 38 of the Immigration Act 1979, obviously.
  7. Nah, don't think so... "IB deputy Pol Maj-Gen Phanthana Nucharat said that they were informed by the Nordic police department of the Swedish Embassy that the man had been named in a warrant in Sweden".
  8. A fellow dirt bag? You realise that, by phrasing it that way, you're saying that you're a "dirt bag" also?! I'm sure you're not.
  9. So that's it, he never will be despite being fingered in a criminal fraud case? Donald Trump wasn't fingered in any criminal case.
  10. You don't accept Thailand's immigration laws, that only apply to foreigners, as a justifiable explanation? Presumably, you also must thInk that your own country's immigration laws are "racist"?
  11. That's what is happening, he'll be fined for the overstay and deported. Nothing else will happen.
  12. Some of them actually read the thread for their info, you should try it! He said that he was "hiding".
  13. "30-year-old Michael McLaughlin at first denied any knowledge of breaking the law but later changed his story by admitting he was hiding in Sisaket because he wanted to stay in Thailand..."
  14. It's been like that for years, valid ID is needed for most banking transactions and a passport with an invalid permission to stay wouldn't be valid ID for banking. I know that because the day before I was leaving to correct a two-day overstay, several years ago, BBL would not allow me to make a counter withdrawal due to the visa issue.
  15. Was he charged with something? Was he indicted? Was he found guilty, of anything criminal?
