  1. That is not true, they're currently both quoting exactly the same rate for THB/GBP but, if they weren't, the difference would be almost insignificant.
  2. Yes, he owns the Davis Hotel...even if you don't live on Soi 24.
  3. The OP's gone quiet, wonder if he's clearing his room?
  4. You are clearly wrong. No, he is correct.
  5. Indeed, you are, see my edited comment.
  6. If the tenant does not leave after 7 days then a judge has to be the one to decide on eviction and not the landlord as most are saying here. So i am correct what I say. No, you are not correct, you stated that an eviction notice from a judge has to be presented giving seven days to leave. The owner can give that written seven-days notice without the involvement of a judge. If the tenant does not vacate the premises in the seven day period, then an eviction notice signed by a judge should be obtained. EDIT: Apologies, I misread your first comment, you are correct. Seven days notice to leave, after that a judge's eviction order...officially.
  7. "The landlord has to apply for an eviction notice from a judge". No , he does not. He has to give written notice to the tenant that he has a period of 7 days to leave the premises before launching an eviction procedure before the judge if he does not leave.
  8. So why the emphasis on the first person in your OP ("I")?
  9. Read your lease agreement. If it is not specified, the owner, obviously, can give you notice to leave for not paying the rent, why should he risk allowing you to stay when you've already shown that you're not a good rent payer?
  10. It isnt normal to hug random people at 10.30pm on beaches. That is strange behaviour in any country, any gender. Not as strange as unnecessarily distorting what was actually reported in the OP. It wasn't reported that they were "hugging random people on the beach", they said that "one LB approached them and gave them a welcome hug", took selfies and subsequently robbed them.
  11. Krungsri has as I was receiving notices with the date of June 27 each time I logged on via the phone app. I know, I've still got the Krungsri notice on my app and it does not state that registering one's photo with them has to be done by 23rd June, it says that the facial recognition process starts on 23rd June.
  12. You do not know whether it was not illuminated pre-crash either. Seems just as likely that it was illuminated...just because someone collided with it doesn't mean that it couldn't be clearly seen.
  13. Is there an Asian price in the west for national parks or other things? No. What's that got to do with the word "Asian" in the context of my comments?
  14. Obviously, that's not what they were doing, as the OP made clear. Perhaps they were just being naïvely sociable.
  15. Presumably, "Asian" is racist to you then?
  16. By becoming victims of skillful pickpockets. What has sobriety got to do with it, are you suggesting they are to blame for their loss because they may have had a couple of sherberts?
  17. I don't think that any bank has stated officially that it has to be done by 23rd June, I think that they're all just saying that facial recognition starts on 23rd June.
  18. They're not, it only applies to mobile banking, so far. Presumably because that's where the vast majority of frauds/scams are perpetrated.
  19. The notice on Krungsri's app doesn't say that it has to be done by next month, it says that facial recognition starts from 23rd of next month.
  20. Drunk tourists must be. Drunk tourists must be what?
