  1. That only works if the rear-ender hits full-on straight, if the car is hit at the rear corner it will go in the direction that it is being hit (or it will be spun around), regardless of the front wheels' position.
  2. Try to explain to Thais what’s lines and zebras meaning on the roads. Try to explain to some Thaivisa posters that there were no continuous white lines, not zebra crossing markings, that the Yaris was shown driving over in the OP photo.
  3. If you bothered to read the report you'd have an idea and wouldn't have to speculate about the veracity of the reference. A friend referred to them as "a couple".
  4. Nonsense, the photo in the OP does not show a zebra crossing markings, neither does the photo show the Yaris driving across any unbroken white lines.
  5. Where was that reported? The Toyota Yaris was equipped with airbags and the model involved was made until 2013. Hardly an "old, cheap car" in the way that you clearly meant.
  6. According to the National Institute for Emergency Medicine, all Thai hospitals, private and state, are required by law to provide emergency care treatment in situations such as this for the first 72 hours of admittance. Presumably, as they have that obligation, they would be reimbursed by the state.
  7. If the owners are not dead but the amulets are being traded, then the amulets are not lucky. Perhaps those previous owners, you know, the ones who did not die, consider that to indicate that the amulets are lucky, that's how they are able to sell them on. You've got a bizarre idea of what being lucky is, myself, I consider not dying being pretty lucky. Amulets are traded because they have a value, not because they are "lucky"; being lucky isn't an objective trait, it's purely subjective.
  8. No, it does not say that, but, what if it did, are you claiming that the information is incorrect? If so, which?
  9. I was here legally So? I did not post anything about your visa status, I referred to "him".
  10. Blatantly obvious by looking at them. It's not difficult to spot Blatantly obvious that, in other words, you didn't know that they were underage.
  11. Divorce If there is a divorce your Non-Immigrant O Marriage Visa will become invalid and you will be required to leave Thailand immediately. In some cases, you may be allowed to remain in the Thailand until the Thai Marriage Visa expires, but you must first check at a Thai Immigration Office. https://siam-attorney.com/thai-marriage-visa/#:~:text=If there is a divorce, required to leave Thailand immediately.
  12. "...the fact that all the previous owners are dead". What? Nonsense, that is not a fact. The previous owners of all 2nd hand amulets for sale are dead? How could you ever know that? You don't know that they are traded by collectors and investors?
  13. Shame you are not interested Lou. I've provided you with evidence, and three actual Acts that you can go to for info'. As I already posted but you ignored... Normal sex is what I have referred to all along ever since you, bizarrely, described sex (with no qualification) as being illegal in Ireland not so long ago... " It wasn't so long ago that sex was illegal in Ireland, unless you were intending to make a baby...". Your words. Normal sex has never been illegal in Ireland.
  14. It's not posted in the Pattaya Forum, nor the Pattaya News forum, it's posted in the Bangkok News forum.
  15. I did and nothing came up, thats why my post was necessary !! "Big fire on Sukhumvit Soi 3". That, and being posted in the Bangkok News forum, tells you exactly whereabouts it is. How many "Sukhumvit Soi 3's" do you think that there are?
  16. "The answer to the question 'can a foreigner inherit land in Thailand' is yes, as a statutory heir, but he cannot register ownership of the land because he will not be given permission. Under present law he must dispose of the land within a reasonable period (meaning up to 1 year) to a Thai national. If the foreigner fails to dispose of the land the Director-General of the Land Department is authorized to dispose of the land and retain a fee of 5% of the sale price before any deductions or taxes". https://www.samuiforsale.com/knowledge/inheritance-laws-thailand.html#:~:text=The surviving spouse is a statutory heir but their entitlement,in to four equal shares.
  17. Contact the manufacturer and ask them directly.
  18. You seem to have 'inside' knowledge. Bit of fantasising going on there. He doesn't, he clearly knows nothing about Thai prisons and the behaviour, in general, of inmates and guards.
  19. Registered post, EMS or courier. If there's no one there to receive those important documents then that's an issue for you and the recipient to sort out.
  20. Unless I'm mistaken it is, even now, illegal to have sex with a lady of 'feeble mind' Normal sex is what I have referred to all along ever since you, bizarrely, described sex (with no qualification) as being illegal in Ireland not so long ago... " It wasn't so long ago that sex was illegal in Ireland, unless you were intending to make a baby...". Your words. Normal sex has never been illegal in Ireland.
