  1. As LL wrote above - its not illegal for the owner to charge whatever they like in a Condo or house - that said, it seems more common that they just charge the government rate. I did not write that. It is illegal for owners renting their places to overcharge on the electricity rate.
  2. I have a rented condo, pay MEA electricity rate plus the water bill, that's it, the owner pays the maintenance and any other charge. Not every condo is a bad deal.
  3. No, it is not legal to overcharge on the electricity bill, it may be done by many owners but it is not legal.
  4. Really? There are criminal charges outstanding against him? Where?
  5. No, the UK is not "getting like here", protesting is permitted in the UK, just as free speech is. Those who were arrested in the UK were initially arrested for public order offences, not for protesting or having an opinion.
  6. What "justice" is there for him to "face" that he is not facing? Are you suggesting that he's been indicted for something?
  7. Reported to whom? It's not illegal.
  8. How many turbo's does a bi-turbo engine have ? Same as a twin-turbo engine but the bi-turbo swings both ways.
  9. Which parts are you having dire problems getting and which parts "cannot even be ordered" anywhere?
  10. You're considering buying an obviously modified used one? If you are, I'd be more concerned about the quality of the mods, the ride and the subsequent difficulty of moving it on after you've had enough of it than whether it was "any good" when it came from the factory.
  11. None will be better than the other (if you follow the recommended service schedules), they'll all be the same. Just get the one that you like best
  12. Although what you're saying is most likely true; Wise does impose this limit. It is true. "Wise" isn't a bank and that's one reason why Wise is not God's gift to everything financial as some posters (not referring to you, necessarily) seem to believe.
  13. It's because her attacker agreed to pay the negotiated compensation. Perhaps he didn't find the prospect of prison that attractive, given an alternative, and didn't want to risk trying to negotiate it down.
  14. Where has it been stated that "the life of a person burned to death is worth B50k"? The Indian in Pattaya negotiated the agreed B200k compensation.
