  1. is this google guy reliable? ... but I would like to know from thai visa too. Probably a lot more reliable than Thaivisa responses!
  2. Why not just ask the place that supplied it?
  3. Google knows a few in Si Racha.
  4. I don't believe that there is any such current legislation that could be enforced. Which section of the Land Traffic Act covers that?
  5. "...being farang on farang collusion...[sic]" Did the OP say that there was some collusion going on between the two parties? I didn't read that.
  6. I am not a scouser so it is as far as I am concerned. I think you're assuming that the only Liverpool is the one in England, yes? I did not say that US was second to Thailand, I said it was two just two places behind Thailand, i.e. third place and that was confirmed in a survey published by this forum today.
  7. Your reply was even worse than you think mine was. Yes, I can drive (as though that is relevant) but I'm not a "scouser", why would you slur me with that assertion?
  8. Going by the opinions of most on this forum, cars in Thailand have tints so dark it doesn't matter what's inside the car, no one can see to check.
  9. Depends on whether the police were involved. Were they?
  10. Thailand, as a country, does not have "a Tax Identification Number". Individual tax payers have TINs. You need to ask your insurer exactly what they need (and, maybe, why?). Or, depending on the specifics of the proposed "life insurance" policy, just give them any random 13-digit number!
  11. Wow, "fully optioned", top of the range. First time I've ever heard manual windows described as an option!
  12. Manuals more reliable than automatics? No small car that's done almost a quarter of a million kilometers can ever fit into the category of "reliable" unless it's just had a complete overhaul!
  13. Can't see how buying a 22-year old Soluna with the best part of a quarter of a million kilometers on it fits the criteria of the OP who wants to rent a reliable car that he, obviously, isn't going to have to pay to maintain and repair!
  14. You think that you can make an "informed" judgement based on the numbers coming from a handful of Thaivisa members? What if no one responds that they have made a successful claim, will that cause you to claim that the scheme must be a scam?
  15. Mathematically speaking, if you pose a question that requires a favourable or negative reponse, the answer cannot be zero. I wasn't answering a question posed in that manner, I was stating a fact. There is no chance, ever, that any government will capitulate to expats wanting annual pension increases in countries where they are not required to be paid. There is zero chance of that happening.
  16. Funny how so many posters see the US in third place and, without any reasoned justification, decide that the survey is a crappy one!
  17. seems it should be a rather simple task.... most items shipped indicate recipient.... unless "junk mail" to "resident" I suppose "...it should be a rather simple task...." Who said it was anything other than a simple task? The police didn't, neither did the OP.
